Good win for the Celtics.  Glad that Jaylen was able to travel back to Boston with the team.  Hopefully he goes through concussion protocol and will be fine.  I was surprised to see all the Thibs hate from their fans and even more surprised that his team isn't better on defense.  I love how other fan bases hate Smart on the Celtics but would love to have him on their team.  At least the Wolves fans get free yogurt.  My favorites are in bold.  What are yours? 



We just signed Derrick Rose. Gross. He better not take any playing time from Tyus. We will lose this one tonight. The decline continues..

I'm not going to overreact like most of the people here.. And wait till I actually see how good Rose is with this te…… F*** it. Go to hell, Thibs! You are still stuck in the 90’s you *&^%$#. The game has passed you by a long time ago and you still hold on to the last shred of relevance you have and do absolute bonehead, dipshit moves to destroy a franchise that finally had some semblance of hope.

Well at least the Rose signing removed any anxiety over playoffs Since now I don’t really care, and would probably actually prefer to see the Wolves miss the playoffs just on the off chance that it helps Thibs get replaced sooner

Folks, lemme break this down for you all in real simple language so even the most uneducated basketball mind among us can understand what the current situation here is. The Timberwolves now have a former league MVP (D-Rose), a future league MVP (Jimmy), and not one but TWO number one overall drafted players (KAT and Wiggs). Not to mention the fact that our starting point guard (Teague) was once named to the All-Star team. Make no mistake about it: THIS is now OFFICIALLY a ‘Super Team’. The NBA used to have some unwritten rules about allowing individual teams to have this much talent but, after the Corey Brewer trade to OKC was approved by the league (thus cementing their super team status) I’m pretty sure all bets are off at this point.

This is an awful organization I think if I worked for their analytics group (I tried to see if they had any openings last year) I’d be lighting myself on fire. Do they draw straws to see who has to talk to Thibs about how dumb his personnel moves are?

If we lose, I hope it is at the hands of Marcus Smart

Goodbye, Towns I don’t see KAT staying in Minnesota. He’s very savvy, and I’d be shocked if he decides to devote much more of his promising young career to an organization that sucks. He will bring large $$ in the open market. My guess is that he ends up with the young and talented Lakers.

Could be a good night! If we win and OKC and the Spurs lose, we’ll be back in the driver’s seat…

Was really looking forward to watching tonight’s game until today’s signing Now I have an overwhelming sense of dread….so just another day as a Wolves fan.

I just love this Brad Stevens and the way he coaches. Look at the way they defend. Look at the ball movement. They get wide open shots at will. If only we had anybody 1/10th as good. Thibs isn't 1/100th as good.

This was Wiggins night to come in a carry the Wolves. At the 7 min mark of the 4th qtr he is 6 for 19, 3 reb, 3 ast and 4 turnovers. Is that all you have Drew?

Not only all of that, but Brown doesn't get injured if Wiggins put any effort into taking a charge on that play.

The Celtics bench versatility is something the Wolves bench desperately needs. They have a little bit of everything coming off their bench

Thibs doesn't use the bench. It really doesn't matter.

Thibs is incapable of making this team better as a coach. I'm talking about defense schemes, rotations, adjustments, develop young guys etc etc etc. Not even talk about the GM part.

All of this without Gordon Hayward. So you move Tatum or Brown to the bench and they become scarier with Rozier/Smart/Tatum/Morris/Who cares. Don't have a possession wasting chucker like Crawford

Exactly. Crazy to think how scarier they could be.  And unlike Thibs, Stevens has no problem trusting his bench. Even the rooks get to play in crunch time

Celts have put together a very good looking young squad. What's interesting is that they have a fair share of no name guys that would look bad on our team (their bigs in particular) but somehow come across looking decent anyway. Horford helps a lot to organize, despite his age, and Stevens would be my first pick for a coach in the whole league (given age of Pop, although Spo is up there rank wise).

Good game but it was like boys vs men out there. The ball just moves so well with Boston...just like Golden state...just like Houston. (Hmm...). Kyrie is just so good we have nothing to match him. And to think that I was one of the ones who didnt want to trade Wiggins for him. Dumb.

if Kyrie for Wiggins was ever an option and we didn’t move on it for whatever reason (i.e. Glen thinks Wiggins is good, Teague was signed and by God we shouldn’t sign another, better point guard!, etc.), my Lord are we flippin foolish. He’s upped his game and will likely lead that team to the finals. I digress.
