Comments from the Other Side - Hawks 2/27/17

Terrible game by the Celtics last night.  Not sure why, but they couldn't hit their shots-not even layups.  It seems lately like teams who are playing terribly tend to look like the Warriors suddenly against the Celtics.  In my opinion it's mostly effort.  Teams hate the Celtics and they come out with more effort and are more aggressive and the Celtics allow them to play harder because they don't match the energy or effort.  The Celtics have to get back to being the scrappy "one for all" team that they were last season.  They can't allow lesser teams to play harder than they do.  Interesting how they feel that Dwight is such an upgrade over Al but they are willing to give him away for a pack of gum.  My favorites are in bold.  What are yours?



I'm afraid we lose by 15-20. No way we guard Isiah Thomas. Our guards blow big time right now.

Hoping Dennis actually shows up this time (in terms of actually showing up on time to the team bus and not dropping a 4/3/3 stat line) instead of just getting into arguments with IT.

Dwight Howard can't stay in the game when Amir Johnson goes out, his failure to defend on the perimeter with every other perimeter player being beat off the dribble will result in an easy Celtics run.

A tech is coming for Dennis probably.

Dennis forces things all game long and IT is in his head...again. Dennis shoots something like 4-16 in...stop me if you have heard this before...another Hawks blowout loss.

I wouldn’t be terribly surprised if we won tonight but I’m not expecting it. This team is a mess right now. A possible dumpster fire in the making. I don’t like the signs I’m seeing at all.

Glad we beat this awful team and our old C looked like the guy we quietly got tired of.
