Comments from the Other Side - Wizards 1/24/17

 That game was tough to watch.  The Celtics have regressed on defense to the max.  It's like they have forgotten how to play on the defensive end.  I don't know what the solution is but they better find it before they end up out of the playoffs.  They are turning into a soft team instead of the tough in your face team that everyone hated to play last season because they played so hard.  If all the trash talk and wearing black shenanigans of the Wizards didn't motivate them,  I'm not sure what will.    Hopefully they can figure it out.  My favorites are in bold.  What are yours? 


The 400 level will be packed with fan-again "Bostonians" who disappeared after the big 3 era and now are back.

400 level? Last game there was a good amount in the 100 level especially behind the Boston bench Fortunately they had nothing to cheer for.

I don't know if I've ever hated another team more than the Celtics. Not even the cavs during arenas era. Marcus and his dirty physical plays, crowder for trying to boop wall…seriously, if they try any of that shit with keef, I guarantee a fight is gonna happen.

Unfortunately, there will be lots of Bostonians and traitors in DA house.

Curious to see whether Brooks has any adjustments in store for the Celtics little leprechaun.

They should give out black Ts and do a blackout. With all the empty seats, that won't be too hard to pull off.

With all those empty seats a blue out might be more cost efficient.

Celtics fans are always salty about these games because playing us reminds them Jason Smith is a better sixth man than Hondo. There is a reason they call Kevin McHale the poor man's Jason Smith.

You can say the Celts are a smallish team, but when you start Smart and Crowder, those are 2 players who look more like football players than basketball players, and they're going to muscle you around

What's the over/under before the first fight of the game? I'll say the 10 minute mark of the 3rd quarter.

Watching the game at a bar in Boston Don’t get the sense that they’re taking us that seriously. Hopefully we earn their respect tonight.

I'm curious to see if they have the energy to play a tough b2b in this situation Especially when they already looked tired down the stretch last night. Lol whatever hatred they have in their heart for the Celtics has to be turned into energy for this one

I see Horford as the wildcard for Boston here, he has the potential to spread the floor and makes plays when given a lot of space.

Is it normal for teams to give up double digit leads THIS often? I mean, we give them up almost every game and it usually only takes the opposing team about 2 minutes to do so.

It's not like we're playing the Nets. This is a well-rested team with a player in IT who has averaged 40ppg in his last two and we don't have anybody who can guard him.

I don't care if IT scores 40 and Wall 20 as long as we win. Wall just can't cover him. He always has trouble against smaller point guards and he's the smallest. Not many people can defend him. He's killing it right now with 29ppg and I think 33ppg over the last month.
