Comments from the Other Side - Knicks 1/18/17

I got the feeling right from the start that the Celtics came into that game expecting an easy win because 2 starters were out and they have been on a skid.  I just didn't see the effort from them, especially on the boards.   I thought the funniest comments were the person wanting to tug on Jae's hair and being cautioned against it because that's how you wind him up.  It always amazes me to see fans rooting so hard for a loss.  I get the whole tanking for the future thing thing but have never been able to root for my team to lose.   My favorites are in bold.  What are yours? 



Lets at least try to contain Kelly Olynyk In the Last Game he dropped maybe the 16 most annoying points I have ever seen.

Kelly Olynyk is special If for no other reason than this: He is the first player whose name I have plugged into an anagram search engine, only to be informed that there aren’t any!

Gonna be at the game! Forgot my Knicks stuff at my apartment though. So at least I won’t be shamed by our 30 point loss and Avery Bradley’s guaranteed 35 point explosion.

I don't care what happens the rest of the season but this is a game I want us to win… I f***ing hate the Celtics and a win today will give me some consolation on what has been a horrible stretch of painful losses and awful basketball.

This one is tough. I kinda want the Knicks to win this one just because it's Boston. But that would be so selfish of me knowing that all losses are future wins.

Really excited to see Isaiah Thomas play. He's one of my favorite non-Knick players. He's a great point guard and he's improved his efficiency to god-like.

Our bum team and bum vets complaining about yet another coach --- we could run 1,000 coaches in the door and these bums wouldn't know how/care to defend or play team ball.

Fun to watch us, a team that refuses to guard the three point line, guard a team that almost exclusively shoots threes. Should be a good time.

the celtics have put around 4 above-average to good defenders around their not-so-good defending top scorer. that should we have done with melo for years now, but we couldn't just get it done
