Comments from the Other Side - Heat 11/28/16

I have to say that it does my heart good to see Heat fans suffering through a tank season.  When LeBron went there they had so many bandwagon fans and they acted so entitled and basically became completely obnoxious.   And, yet,  most of the fans couldn't make it to the game on time and the ones there seemed to be paying more attention to their cell phones than to the game.   I also dislike Pat Riley with a passion and I'm glad to see them admit that Riley mistreats players and that's  not going to get them many free agents.   My favorites are in bold.  What are yours?

Apparently Justise has been out for 7 games. I miss his endearing air balls.

The tank is real & I'm appreciative of our office for realizing how screwed we could be for the next couple years if we don't land a solid talent this offseason

Heat players owe fans an apology. Seems like players don’t even acknowledge the suffering ticket holders in AA arena are going through. Fans showed more effort showing up to the game than the guys on the court.

At least to the upper level crowd The lower level crowd puts in the same amount of effort to show up on time

So is it a given that Dragic is getting traded?

I think the majority of the roster is fair game. Hassan included.

Heat with 31 first half points, score season high 42 in the 3rd and are still down 10.

That's the philosophy for this season. Play hard,competitive,and make it look good. And then just lose.

This Celtics team is pretty good though. Hitting them timely shots.

On a brighter note...Dragic's trade value ramping up.

I hope when pat riley finally trades dragic, he doesn't get any picks in return, or better... Has to cough up an additional 2nd round pick just to unload dragic's salary to a playoff contending team.

This is a story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody. There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody’s job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn’t do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have.

Just really don't like Smart. Since college. POS.

If smart would play this tough instead of flopping like a fish, he would be heavily respected like Ron Artest on defense. That was a hard playoff foul, nothing easy and he didn't whack Hassan in the head.

2017 offseason will be Riley's last hurrah Bosh is hell bent on coming back so we need to use his cap space before he can play the necessary 25 games to go back on our cap.

It's why we can't release him until March 5th or so. At that point, he could not play the 25 games by end of season, allowing Heat to be free of the contract for the free agency period. Kind of mean, but it’s business.
