End first: After one quarter at the Garden, the Celtics and Mavericks are locked in a tight one, as the Mavs currently lead by the slimmest of margins, 17-16. Now overall, I'd say the Celts have struggled so far, but in the end, that doesn't matter. Dallas hasn't been much better, so I guess we can keep watching this contest. It might actually end up being a win.
Halftime: Halfway through this one, the Mavericks have extended their lead over the Celtics to six, 44-38. So yea, while they kinda took a step back in tonight's second quarter, I'd say the Celts are doing alright so far. I mean, the Mavericks are currently a whole nine games above .500 while the C's are 15 below, so they should be losing this one by a lot more, wouldn't you think?
Final: Well, this one's over. The Celtics, due to a second half collapse, have been blown out (to a certain extent) by the Mavericks, 102-91. So yea, there goes that win streak. I know it wasn't that big a deal and it only happened against bad teams, but I enjoy having it go on. I mean, it was a win streak, something that this team hasn't had for a very, very long time.
