Comments from the Other Side - ECF Game 3 Cavs 5/19/18

Well, that wasn't fun.  The Celtics were out of sorts from the beginning.  They didn't defend and didn't rebound and couldn't hit their shots.  They seemed like a totally different team.  The Cavs definitely were the team that played harder in that one.  Hopefully the Celtics can get it together by Monday.  Cavs fans are so ridiculous with their whining about the refs.  The refs weren't bad in spite of how bad the Celtics played.  Well, on to the next game.  My favorites are in bold.  What are yours?

The way to beat this Celtics team is to smother them and stop their offensive rhythm. If you make it hard enough they will struggle to score and that's how you beat them.

Boston is playing the smartest defense on LeBron so far in the playoffs.

Tatum gets way too many ****ing calls for a rookie. Green Jersey is really just an amazing booster to your NBA abilities when you get the constant benefit of the doubt even as a rookie.

You could hear a pin drop in the Q at some moments in the first half. Our home court advantage stinks. A big reason Boston plays so well at home is because their crowd is in it the whole game.

Everything going right for Cleveland. Boston is definitely shaky on the road. Especially compared to when they play at home.

I really doubt if Smart played for another team outside the Celtics and Warriors he would get all these calls in his favor. The guy flops for the whole game on almost every defensive play.

Probably should win more regular season games to get home court. Boston is light years different team road vs home. We needed to close out game 2 when we had 11 point lead in the final seconds of the 2nd before going on a horrific end to the game.

I think people fail to realize that Lebron can't defend like that every game even in the playoffs, let alone every game during the season. Like you see, he is absolutely gassed.

I don't think Boston has feared or honestly doubted they can beat us. Get them thinking differently wouldn't hurt going forward.

Well, refs certainly tried to keep the Celtics in the game in the 2nd quarter, I thought. Some ridiculous difference in calls on the two ends. I will say though, it's amazing when Jalen Brown isn't protected by his home court/Boston fans/whatever the Fuck it is and actually gets called for bear hugging and mauling everyone out there, how fast he picks up fouls and no longer can play so aggressive.

Getting Brown in foul trouble has also been a great help.
