Comments from the Other Side - Nuggets 12/13/17

I love how they thought that the refs were one sided toward the Celtics.  The Celtics shot 24 free throws to 26 for the Nuggets and they let a lot of contact go both ways.  They always see the fouls not called on the other team but miss all of them on their own team.  I love that gif of the cat squeezing through the door.  There are the usual complaints about Tommy and the usual Brad Stevens envy.  Some fun comments.  My favorites are in bold.  What are yours? 



Barton better than Tatum?? Barton is having his best season by far, but let’s not get crazy: Tatum is playing better than Barton ever has at any point in his career.

Tatum's been pretty incredible statistically, will be interesting to see him play

I'd take Tatum everyday of the week.

I was unsure about him pre-draft. Really seemed like a Rudy Gay type player. But yeah, as it stands now, Tatum >> Barton.

Irving playing tonight too, Boston with an awful loss last game, anything can happen but if we get destroyed tonight not surprising.

Kyrie Irvings usage rate has been about 30% his whole career, he also dosent play with Jokic who the team runs the offense through. Even still he’s been a point guard his whole adult life. He has a career average of 5.5 assists.

Thoughts on the TWolves/Sixers game last night It’s interesting to see that Minny team continue to be so freaking bad defensively. This despite having arguably the most highly regarded defensive coach in the game in Thibbs and having brought in 2 vets with reps as elite defenders familiar with his system in Butler and Gibson

Its as if there isn’t a magic pill that teaches players, even good ones, how to defend properly and give good effort on a nightly basis.

Good thing the pill doesn't work on bad players, wiggins would become unstoppable.

Thibodeau is even worse than Malone KAT played 48 min, Jimmy 45 min, Wiggins 40 min, Gibson 40 min

He's always ground his starers into dust. I would say his is the prime suspect in Derrick Rose’s injury demise.

it's amazingly dumb Minny’s going to regret letting him continue to do this.

I would like to see good effort tonight I think the blowout is inevitable but I hope they at least have some pride and fight for it.

This should be another game over by the half I’d be shocked if it was even close. Have no idea how the line is only Boston -6.5

Need Mudiay to replicate what he did against the Celtics last season It shouldn’t be too hard to pull off, right?

I think we have a shot at this game. We have some momentum, but Boston is pissed after losing to the Bulls Kyrie will either beat us or lose it for them. Let’s hope he is off and doesn't feel like distributing tonight.

Boston is missing their best player so this game is 100% winnable. And yes, Horford is way more valuable to the Celtics than Kyrie. At least he has been this year.

Jaylen Brown will be our test tonight I think. We'll need our PG's to get past midcourt.

Refs have been sooooooooo f***ing one sided tonight it makes me sick. Ridiculous how bad Mudiay played defensively in that half. I'm not sure I've ever seen a guy get lost on screens by as wide a margin as he does.

If you had told me we would score 59 in the first half against the Celtics I'd be thrilled and think we would have a nice lead. Oops.

Anyone else surprised that Boston only had 10 steals? It seemed like they picked off a pass along the perimeter every third possession.
