As strange as this sounds Zipser can be key for us if he's shooting well. In crunch time we can play him at SF and play Wade and Butler at the guards. Wade and Jimmy can both handle the ball and more importantly they can score in the post. Isaiah Thomas is too small to guard Zipser and will have to guard either Wade or Jimmy and they would PUNISH Isaiah Thomas in the post. As good of a defender as Bradley is Jimmy is bigger and stronger and could take him in the post as well.
Preview of things to come: Rondo is going to have a wide-open lane for a game-winning lay-up, but Avery Bradley is gonna swoop in from the side and clothesline him in the head. Refs call it a regular 2-shot foul instead of a flagrant, Rondo misses 2, and you know the rest of the story....

I believe the Bulls have the most playoff experience of any roster in the playoffs this year. Also, Rajon Rondo led the Chicago Bulls in 3P% this year...
I also think Rondo should attack Thomas a lot since he's terrible defensively and they lack rim protection.
The Celtics are not that good. We need to put the clamps on IT. Jimmy might need to guard him from the get go. Just use that length, and let Rondo guard Bradley.
Celtics bench is pretty decent. Call me crazy but I think Val and Zip are the X FACTORS for us. If those 2 start hitting shots it's going to be over.

Man I'm not sure about this series anymore. I believe this may have sucked the fun/intensity out of this one (not that I'm complaining becusee it's obviously bigger than basketball). I'm as competitive as it gets but how do you want to beat someone who's sister just died the day before from the Bulls standpoint and from the Celtics how do you go out and execute with that in the back of your mind all game?
Yea it did suck some fun out of it but I still want to watch and root for my team nothing but good wishes for IT ..........I'll be rooting hard for my team so we can attract a big free agent at the end of our run

Condolences to IT. Its really sad. He is going to tough it out and play tonight. It must be hard. So for tonight, not only would be underdogs in their building , we also have to deal with the emotional uprise that will come from his teammates. If the Bulls can steal this game, its going to go a long way to seeing if we can win the series.
If Bulls can match their toughness it will be a series but I don't think they can. Bulls are too soft and too young, I think Celts 4-2
I feel for IT but why would his loss affect us? Wade's people were gunned down and multiple of Taj's people. The players definitely feel for each other but once that game starts the opposing team isn't thinking about your loss. But again I feel bad for IT and hopefully he can get past this to help his team.
The x factor of this series to me is Amir Johnson. He kills us for some reason..

We match up well in this series. We have the best player in the series. If we go player vs player. They don't have a significant advantage vs any of our players matchup wise. They're biggest advantage is shooting.

Call me crazy, but I might take IT over MVP Rose. Might. Rose was bigger, stronger, faster, more explosive, but those physical attributes aside, IT seems to get to the basket pretty easily and finish well around the rim. Additionally, he can shoot the ball from distance waaaaaay better than Rose ever could is overall a more efficient all around scorer(better TS% in multiple seasons). His game would transition much more smoothly to older age(i.e. late 20s/30s) and endure injury better because he's not so entirely reliant on athleticism.

The big takeaway from this game is that the C’s rebounding issues are not going away. As long we can keep up our dominance on the boards, Butler can continue to live up to his billing, and we can force guys other than IT to beat us, we have a realistic shot of taking this series.
Don't underestimate the gap between Stevens and Hoiberg Stevens will make adjustments, Hoiberg will debate the merits of individualized shampoo and conditioner versus a combination shampoo and conditioner.
I like seeing our guys win But I also worry that the Bulls might actually win the series and provide validation for Garpax’s shitty teambuilding
