What a game!!  I was so happy that they got that win for Al, not to mention that they move 2.5 games ahead of Atlanta for the 3rd spot in the East.  Very interesting that the fans there feel that Milsap is trash.  Pretty classless for them to boo Al.  He gave them 9 years and that should have counted for something.  Isaiah is definitely proving that he belongs in the All Star game.  As always, it really amazes me how some fans can wish physical harm on players.    Some fun comments.  My favorites are in bold.  What are yours?

There is one Celtic I hope has a good game in a losing effort... Jaylen Brown! I hope he gets at least one highlight-worthy play in front of his family &; friends.

Hawks are deeper overall...And at home, but lack cohesiveness.... Budz done good, glueing it together... But lack intimidation factor, no real threat...

Schro had a run-in with Thomas so I am sure he will be super amped up. The question is, maybe too amped up? I hope that Schro keeps his cool and lets a W at the end of regulation do (most of) the talking.

The Hawks need to watch out for Crowder also, he knows how to push people's buttons.......

If Avery Bradley is actually out (I believe he was a GTD last game before being ruled out) that would be huge for the Hawks' back court.

Bradley is their best rebounder (total rebounds and rebounds per game) :-D lol!!!

I just hope that Al will not make me eat crow and snatch 20 rebounds tonight! :-D

Weak rebounding and soft in the middle seems to be a good summary of Horford's game right now.

I wonder if we may see Thabo on IT at times with Dennis guarding some non-shooter like Smart to conserve his energy on D. Thabo has been starting recently but this matchup doesn't really give him an obvious candidate to guard.

Can't wait to boo Al Horford tonight. Yea because of all that summer stuff but mostly because he wears green now. My memory is just as short as his. Forget your fans on the way out Forget him ever time he plays here.

I should prolly stay sober for this one as to not break $hit. And to be able to handle a loss without injuring myself. Who am I kidding, I'll still be breaking $hit and injuring myself with a win. Sober.

Had this game circled on my calendar since the schedule was released. I'm not sure I am emotionally stable enough to handle a loss to Alice and her band of merry midgets in green. I hate this franchise and their fans more than just about any other. We need an A game tonight folks. A straight up arse-woopin.

I know the Celtics are great this year, but they are a little thin with the injuries right now. Bradley and his defense might be out, also Amir johnson is doubtful. Dwight needs to take advantage of the mismatch tomorrow. I hope we can extend the streak

Yeah, Amir's absence benefits us greatly. But Bradley missing this game would be huge. See: Round 1 last season on why.

I don't want Al Horford returning and winning. Hawks are favored to win by 2.5 points.

I hope AH spends most of the game at PF. I've wanted to see Horford v Paul head to head for a few seasons now.

Paul Milsap is the new "Al Horford" in my opinion. His undersized for his position. This dude is NOT the prototypical power forward in the National Basketball Association. GET OVER IT GIUYS! Milsap is washed up! He is a "has been!" Time for the Atlanta Hawks' basketball organization to move forward......

Celtics fans can complain all they want about Horford and his lack of rebounding, but they should point the finger at coaches and management. They knew what they were getting with Al. There are things he does well, but rebounding is not one of them. His rebounding numbers were on the decline the last few years, and it is clear how terrible his rebounding was in the playoffs. Why did anybody in Boston think it would be any different?

Howard has more double doubles now than Horford had all of last season.

Oh yeah, btw, the "Pizza Guy" (aka Isaiah Thomas) is arguably the best performing (point or shooting) guard in the Eastern Conference at the moment - not bad for the last player selected in the 2011 NBA Draft.

Louder boos than applause for Al near me. It was hard to tell about the building as a whole.

Horford's slightly unorthodox way of shooting, holding the ball and standing when trying to block out used to be so endearing... It's annoying as hell in another uniform

Thomas' stats are Iverson-like. He has to take 25-30 shots a game to score his 30 and the next highest player on the team will be low-mid double digits for the most part

Olynyk is starting the second half. Unlike Bud, Coach Stevens isn't afraid to make lineup changes.

Thomas is a lot more efficient than Allen Iverson ever was. yeah he takes a lot of shots but he's pretty efficient and he gets to the free-throw line a lot

This is inexcusable. The Hawks are at home. The Celts are without their second best player (Avery Bradley) and a Hawks' win will get them within a 0.5 game of the 3-seed.

Boston wisely spread the floor with jump shooting bigs when D12 was in the game. Other teams will attempt to match in the playoffs.

Isaiah Thomas is very good at offense.

Celtics, with the addition of Horford, have surpassed us in the hierarchy of the Easter Conference. We got a solid replacement and remained competitive. Boston undeniably improved their roster.

Isaiah said he's practiced making that step back leaner off the right elbow thousands of times.. He said Coach had drawn up a pick and roll play but he new none of the Hawks personnel on the floor at the time could guard him so he decided to throw the coaches play out with the bath water and go ISO for the game winning shot on ESPN.. Hero ball but it worked for the Celtics because he made his shot count at the most crucial time.

Thomas just too quick and strong for Dennis to guard effectively..

It's rare you see Bud get his a$$ handed to him by an opposing coach but tonight was one of those.

At the end of the day, tip your hat to Boston, give the middle finger to the refs for not reviewing that goal tend and not calling the foul on THjr in the 4th. The Hawks will get them next time.

Every foul call against IT(I mean come on just because he's a midget in this league doesn't mean you have to call a foul every time he gets a little bump while dribbling)

The Celtics are very tough. Dwight isn't a great option against them just because of how they spread the floor.

If I'm a Boston fan, I like the potential of the team. Good HC in Stevens, and multiple assets to make some moves.
