Trio of Celtics Lead Red Claws to 2nd Straight Win Over Raptors 905, 112-93

For the second game in a row, the Maine Red Claws beat Raptors 905 behind the play of 3 Celtics assignees. The Red Claws took the lead for good late in the first quarter and led by as many as 21 in the third quarter. The Red Claws had struggled so far this season in the third quarter but the Celtics trio came out gunning, scoring 19 of Maine’s 21 points in the first six minutes of the quarter. Maine put the game away with 39 points in the 4th quarter, including 11 from Young, seven from Mickey and six from Rozier.

James Young, who struggled in the last game, came up big in this one. He scored 26 points on 9-18 shooting and 6-10 from beyond the arc. He also pulled down 15 rebounds, dished out 4 assists, and grabbed 2 steals. Jordan Mickey finished with 17 points (7-15) 9 rebounds and 5 blocks. Terry Rozier had 16 points (5-10) 3 rebounds and 8 assists.

The Red Claws will face the same Raptors 905 once again for the 3rd straight game at 1:00 on Sunday.
