LeBron has been turning the ball over a ton and the Cavs have missed open threes all game. The closeness of the game has nothing to do with the officials.
Stevens doesn't let runs happen. He's as quick to call time-outs as Blatt is slow.

Here's My Favorite Comment! "The refs have been doing what they can to help the Cavs. It would really be great to see how they would play in a game that's called fairly." Superstar or not LBJ and the Cavs should be getting the same calls as anyone else. This is the shameful part of the NBA. Yes some calls are tough to make but others are blatantly obvious BAD calls. To me the most glaring was Mossy-Gov running over Tyler Zeller in the 4th UNBELIEVABLE NO CALL - Well UNBELIEVABLE IF IT WASN"T THE NBA. They just don't want the Cavs to lose.. This is as close to FIXING GAMES AS POSSIBLE WITHOUT IT BEING ILLEGAL! WE NEED A CONGRESSIONAL INVESTIGATION OR EXECUTIVE ORDER FROM OBAMA TO CLEAN UP THE NBA REFFING!!

Thanks for the coimments and I agree with you, Rick. The officiating has been terrible in both games and there have been calls that changed the momentum of the game.
ReplyDeleteLeBron will never foul out unless for some bizarre reason the league decides that they want the Cavs to lose a game. He will get a foul called here and there just so they can say that they call fouls on him too, but they will never put him in foul trouble and look the other way when he dips his shoulder on almost ever drive and commits an offensive foul.
Avery got a few very bad calls especially the one that Evan Turner called into question. That was a terrible call and Bennett Salvatore was right there so it couldn't be a mistake. It was a bad call on purpose. I hate the fact that we can never be sure that any team will get a fair shake because the refs are either biased or incompetent.
The Cavs fans are so used to getting every call, they have come to expect it and feel that they are entitled to a bias in the officiating. At least we haven't had a game like the Mavs did with a 45-17 free throw disparity.
