. C’s played last night too, Jazz are very young, it’s not long since they all had a full week off and we are just plain better than they are.
Their game was more like a friendly scrimmage where the starters hardly play Our game was punch each other in the face until one of us is unconscious. Sure we are young, but we arent deep (which is big in b2bs)
I think we win tonight Jazz still salty about losing to them last time. Maybe Dexum will have a good game. Maybe Good Trey will show up since he’ll have IT guarding him
Exum has ~ 9 inches on IT and is at least as fast. He should dominate IT any time they’re matched up

The Jazz frontcourt should destroy the Celtics frontcourt, but the backcourt is another story. Smart owned Exum in the past, I am going to be interested to see how it plays out tonight. Also, I am interested to see how Trey does against a PG smaller than him.
Favors/Gobert should destroy Bass and Zeller. I think you'll see Stevens put Jerebko at center in (hopes of) pulling Gobert out of the paint because hes terrifying there lol.

I don't think it's the Jazz playing down to the competition, it's just the nature of the team. They now have the defense to be in any game regardless of the opponent, but they don't have the offense to blowout many teams.
Surely, they have the offense to blow out these Celtics, though. Most of their roster is lucky to have a job this side of Atlantic, including some starters.

I liked how they put Bradley/Smart on Hayward since he doesn’t have much post game yet to take advantage of his height and they’re excellent on the perimeter. Going small also worked well for them. That last play you saw they already knew Zeller was gonna be open under the rim, it was an automatic set.
Excellent job by Brad Stevens calling for that ball in the paint. Jazz probably though it was going to Thomas for a floater.
I don't understand how the refs whistled the Jazz for traveling all night long and somehow missed that walk by Zeller.
