Celtics hang on in Utah for 99-90 win over Jazz

Tayshaun Prince scored 19 points and Tyler Zeller contributed 14 more as the Celtics found a way past the Jazz, 99-90, Monday night in Salt Lake City.

Prince shot 7/10 from the field in this one, leading the Celtics in scoring while also topping their passing game with five assists. As for Zeller, he solidly made six of his eight attempts, and Jared Sullinger pulled his weight with 12 points and nine rebounds.

The Celtics and Jazz were even at 17 after this one's first quarter, but then things got interesting. The Celtics dominated the second with a 38-14 out-scoring, and the Jazz bounced back with a 19-point victory of their own in the third to bring the two close again.

The Celtics still pulled away with an alright performance in the fourth, though, clinching for them their third win in four contests. Their record on the season now sits at an okay 16-27, just two games behind the Bobcats for the conference's eight seed.
