Celtics Dominate Fourth Again; Win 3rd Straight Over T-Wolves 114-98

Kelly Olynyk scored 21 points and Jeff Green chipped in 18 more as the Celtics continued their hot streak with a win over the Timberwolves, 114-98, Friday night at the TD Garden.

Olynyk shot 8/13 from the field in this one, pulling down a team-high eight rebounds. The performances He and Green put up helped hold off the Wolves' Shabazz Muhammad - who had 26 - throughout, but couldn't give Boston breathing room until late.

Nonetheless, the Celtics did eventually pull away in the fourth quarter, when Minnesota began to slow down. The Celtics out-scored the Wolves 31-21 in those final 12 minutes, turning a six-point advantage into a 16-point one in a happening similar to Wednesday's.

They have now been victorious in each of their last three, and are a solid 10-14 on the season. That record, interestingly, is the eighth-best in the conference, seemingly proving they're not actually tanking.
