Celtics Wrap Up Preseason With 100-86 Win Over Nets

Marcus Smart had 16 points and Jared Sullinger closely followed him with 15 more last night as the Celtics wrapped up their preseason with a 100-86 win over the Nets.

Smart shot 5/8 from the field in the contest, including 2/5 from behind the arch. He made 4/4 free throws, leading the team in scoring despite playing just 15 minutes.

Besides him and Sullinger, though, not many other Celts reached double-digits, with Gerald Wallace (12) and Tyler Zeller (11) checking in as the only ones.

As for the Nets, they were led by Mason Plumlee and Mirza Teletovic, who both got to 15.

Boston shot 45.8% (38/83) from the field on the evening, while Brooklyn shot just 38.7% (29/75).

The victory was the C's fifth of the preseason, and their third consecutive. Interestingly, it was also their fourth this month of at least 10+ points, with Sunday's 95-90 contest at Barclays Center standing as the only close one.

Basically just an all around good deal here if you're a Celtics fan.
