Jared Sullinger scored 21 points and Brandon Bass followed him with 16 more Sunday as the Celtics rallied in the second half to beat the Nets, 95-90, in a 44-minute experimental game at Barclays Center.
In the contest, the Celts' seventh of the preseason, things really didn't start well for Boston, with the Nets quickly jumping out to an early double-digit lead at the half.
Nonetheless, thanks to a 33-14 performance in the third and 13-5 run before the final buzzer the C's still found a way to win, with Jeff Green, Marcus Smart, Avery Bradley, and Marcus Thornton all contributing to that accomplishment with 14, 13, 12, and 10 points, respectively.
In other words, despite the fact they shot just 37.8% to the Nets' 45.1% the Celtics got help from a lot of different people in this one, a major reason why they can now consider themselves above .500.
