This game (a 118-102 loss to the Wizards) didn't go too well, but at the end of the day, it didn't have to. The season's been over for a good few weeks now, so anything anyone did tonight would've been meaningless. Don't get me wrong, a win still would've been fun, but again, this contest didn't matter. It was just something that happened to be on the schedule.
Anyway, the final USOTN of the season goes to the strange fact that Brandon Bass took a three-pointer in this one. Obviously, it didn't go in, but still, what was that about? He can't shoot threes.
And with that, I guess that's the year. It had a lot of heartbreaking losses and frustrating blowouts in it, but in the end, since it was one of rebuilding, I guess that kinda failure was tolerable. It wasn't fun, but yea, I could deal with it. See you guys in Summer League.
