End first: After one quarter at the Garden, the Celtics are way behind, as the surprise Wizards currently lead this contest, 38-24. From start to finish in tonight's opening period, the Celts just couldn't buy a basket, shooting an atrocious, eight of twenty-four from the field. So yea, they're obviously struggling right now. Let's hope they turn it around soon.
Halftime: Halfway through this one, the Celtics are still losing by double-digits, as the Wizards now lead here by twelve, 68-56. In tonight's second quarter, these two teams were pretty even, as the Celts outscored Washington, 32-30. Nothing amazing, but still, definitely something entertaining. I doubt the C's will build on their recently-found momentum, but hey, they might.
Final: Well, this one's over. The Celtics have lost to the Wizards in extremely amusing fashion, 118-102. So yea, that's this season. The Celts, intentionally or not, went a pretty bad 26-56, although really, that doesn't matter. They played hard and never gave up. Say what you want about that record, but this team has potential. Let's hope they show it next year.
