Well, here we are. Game 82. It seems like the season just started, but obviously that isn't the case. This year's somehow already over. It wasn't a pretty one by any means, as the Celtics lost fifty-five games (fifty-six depending on what happens here) but still, it was definitely fun. So yea, let's do this whole Celtics Green Blog thing one last time. Here's tonight's five things:
5. GET TO THE LINE MORE:
Monday night in Philly, the Celtics shot just 26 free throws to the 76ers' 38, which, considering that the Celts lost by 5, obviously was pretty bad. So yea C's, be more aggressive here. Make sure to get to the line.
4. GET BETTER SHOOTING FROM BASS:
I like Brandon Bass a lot, but lately he's been kinda inconsistent. Not terrible, but still, definitely unproductive, meaning that he's gotta make up for that with a big performance in this one.
3. GIVE PRESSEY MORE SHOTS:
I know I've been saying this point a lot lately, but that's just because I believe it's legitimate. If the C's are gonna win this game, they're gonna need a big night from Phil Pressey. That's just kinda obvious.
2. GIVE GREEN MORE THREES:
Against the 76ers, SG Jeff Green took just four threes, which, in my opinion, isn't enough for him. I mean, he's gotta score points in order to be helpful, doesn't he?
1. BE CONSISTENT:
As always, the Celts played really bad for one quarter Monday night, which, of course, ended up costing them the game. So yea, they obviously gotta be more consistent in this contest.
