Tonight, the Celtics out-lasted the Toronto Raptors for a 112-88 victory at the Garden. In the beginning, the C's looked bad. But they were able to turn it around by halftime. Although they won big here, I don't see a lot of positives. They won a game they should've. Not a big deal.
Tonight's USOTN goes to the performance of Terrence Williams. This guy is not a scorer. Tonight he got a solid 5 points on 2/2 shooting, which is good for him. They didn't sign him to lead them to a title, so I'm very happy with his game. Thanks for the effort.
After the first quarter tonight, the Celtics trailed 22-21. At that point, I was fed up with their horrible effort. I guess Doc must've given them a pep talk or something because after their visit to the bench they were fine. But, like I said, this is not a big deal. It was nothing but a home win over the Raptors.
