Well, great. Tonight, the Celtics play the Mavericks down in Dallas. Boy, I just can't wait to watch them struggle against another awful team. This last week really only had one hard game scheduled(the Heat game), which they lost. I'm fine with that one, but not the close home wins or the loss in New Orleans. Anyway, if they attempt to follow these five things they might win:
5. GET GREEN TO STAY HOT:
In New Orleans, Jeff Green scored 11 out of his 13 points in the first quarter. So, his performance pretty much didn't matter. They need him to play great a lot more consistently.
4. FIX TERRY:
On Wednesday, Jason Terry did not score a single point. That performance was completely pathetic. They need this guy to make a few threes every game. Not just jack up stupid sh*t.
3. LIMIT BRADLEY'S SHOTS:
In the last week, Avery Bradley's shot has gone from amazing to depressing. Against the Hornets, Bradley shot just 2/10 from the field. Once he starts missing shots, stop giving him attempts. He's very cocky.
2. GIVE LEE MORE SHOTS:
In New Orleans, Courtney Lee scored an OK 5 points on 2/3 shooting. He scored as many points on 3 shots as Bradley scored on 10 shots. Here's an insane thought, give the better shooter more shots.
1. PLAY HARD FOR 48 MINUTES:
On Wednesday, the Celtics only played their hardest for the first twenty-four minutes. They need to play harder for longer. If they would've put up the same effort in the second half as they did in the first, they would've definitely won.
Tip-off for tonight's game will be at 8:30 pm ET. You can see it on CSN-NE.
