After last night's loss to the Bobcats, the Celtics will head home for a matchup with the Raptors. Last night's loss was depressing. They showed no effort and deserve criticism. They need a better game plan tonight. Here are the five things:
5. BETTER SHOT FROM KG:
In Charlotte, Kevin Garnett shot just a horrible two of ten from the field. Of all the people to not try, Kevin Garnett doesn't. They need him to play his best every night for the rest of the season.
4. BETTER SHOT FROM BRADLEY:
As bad as Garnett was, Avery Bradley was just as bad. Bradley shot just 4/11 from the field and deserves a lot of blame for the loss. Like with KG, they need him at his best.
3. DON'T BENCH PEOPLE:
Last night, the Celtics stupidly benched Paul Pierce. This was basically saying "we're not going to try tonight even though it's an easy win." My question for the team,"Why?"
2. WHEN YOU'RE CLOSE, KEEP PLAYING:
Going into halftime yesterday, the Celtics could've won. But the second half ended up being when the Celtics really stopped giving a crap. Why do they play bad like this against a team like Charlotte?
1. PLAY HARD:
No win is guaranteed. You can not go into a game thinking of it as an easy win from now on. Treat every game like it's game seven of the NBA finals. No more slacking off.
Tip-off for tonight's game will be at 7:30 pm ET. Live Game Updates will be available here.
