30: Tonight the red hot Celtics will host the red hot Nuggets. Both of these teams are currently riding winning streaks, with Denver winning nine consecutive games and Boston six. Thanks to their current streak, the C's have moved into seventh place in the eastern conference. In my opinion, this is one of those games where the home team automatically has the advantage. But that doesn't guarantee a Boston win. We'll just have to wait and see. Enjoy the game and remember to check back here after each quarter for updates.
04: At halftime, the Celtics lead the Nuggets 50-46. It's been a pretty up and down game, a game where Boston's 10 point lead after the first quarter was reduced to just four by halftime. But I'm still pretty happy with the effort the C's have put up so far. Jason Terry has definitely been the biggest surprise up to now, as he leads Boston with 10 points. The Nuggets are led by Ty Lawson who has 8.
27: The Celtics and Nuggets and currently heading into overtime tied at 92. The only reason why this game isn't over is because the refs didn't want it to end. With 3.6 seconds left, the Nuggets were given possession on a play where they clearly touched it last. It was a play that a blind man could've seen and known that it was Boston ball. But, the NBA wants money. They get more money by extending games and getting more ratings.
41: The Celtics and Nuggets are now heading into a second overtime tied at 99. With 23 seconds left, Jeff Green tied the game with a three-pointer. That shot might've saved the day.
19: The Celtics have won in triple overtime, 118-114. Stay here at CG, post game and USOTN coming soon.
