8:20: Tonight, the Celtics will begin the rest of their season in Denver. The Nuggets currently sit at 33-21 and fifth in the western conference. On the other side, the Celtics went into ASW having won 8 out of their last 9 as they sit at 28-24 and seventh in the eastern conference. This one will be tough and I won't be upset if they lose. But that doesn't mean that I expect it.
9:32: The Celtics, thanks to Avery Bradley, lead the Nuggets after the first quarter, 22-21. Bradley has scored a very nice 12 points to lead his team. On the other side, Danilo Gallinari leads Denver with 9 points. The Nuggets made a little bit of a run in the final moments of the first, turning a 20-14 deficit into just a 22-21 deficit. But nonetheless, the C's still lead.
10:01: The Celtics played very competitively in the second quarter on there way to a 50-49 lead. Avery Bradley and Courtney Lee lead the Celtics with 12 points each. It was a very up and down quarter. One minute they'd be up by 9, the next down by 1. At the buzzer, Courtney Lee made a two-pointer that made the score what it is now.
11:26: The Celtics have lost 97-90. I said earlier that I wouldn't be too upset if they lost, and I'm standing by that statement. They were able to lead for most of the third quarter before the Nuggets went ahead. At one point in the fourth quarter, Avery Bradley tied the game with a 3 pointer, but it didn't turn the tide. The Celtics are now down to 28-25, but they're still good. Tomorrow night, they'll be in LA playing the dreadful Lakers. At least they'll win that one.
