After their thrilling win in Toronto, the Celtics will head back home to face the Lakers. The Lakers are starting to kind of turn things around, but still sit at a rather weak 23-26. Maybe they're a tough opponent, but I just don't see them beating the C's at the Garden. If it was in LA it would be no surprise if they pulled it out. But, as always, we'll just have to wait and see. Here are tomorrow's five things:
5. KEEP GETTING CONTRIBUTIONS FROM BRADLEY:
Avery Bradley had a great game in Toronto. Bradley had a clutch 11 points to go along with a three-pointer. The Celtics just barely won that game, so it's no doubt that his performance was bigger than it looked. If they can get him to score about 10 points a night, they'd be set.
4. KEEP GETTING CONTRIBUTIONS FROM BARBOSA:
I feel like I'm annoying people when I say this, but I'll still say it again. Leandro Barbosa has stepped up and become huge for this team. In Toronto against his old team, Leandro had 14 points and 4 assists. Let's hope this continues.
3. KEEP GETTING CONTRIBUTIONS FROM LEE:
Courtney Lee, similar to Barbosa, has improved his game. Unlike Barbosa, he has done it much slower than I expected. I thought that we'd see him score fifteen points every night, but that didn't start happening until last week. Anyway, he's doing that now. Let's hope he continues.
2. DON'T UNDERESTIMATE THE LAKERS:
In my opinion, the Lakers and Raptors match-ups are very similar. Mainly because the Celtics are playing the better one of the two at home and the worser on the road. The Lakers are becoming a solid opponent that won't go down easily.
1. GET GARNETT TO DOMINATE:
We saw in Toronto how good the Celtics are when KG scores all the points. If they can get him to have a 20+ point game, I don't see them losing. When Garnett plays well, the whole team plays well. He is slowly becoming the heart and soul of the team.
Tip-off for tomorrow's game is at 8:00 pm ET. Live Game Updates will be available here.
