After their embarrassing loss the Lakers, the Celtics will travel to Phoenix to face the Suns tomorrow night. The Suns currently sit at just 18-37 and last in the western conference. Since returning from ASW, the Celtics are 0-2 and down to 28-26 overall(7th in east). At first glance this looks like an easy win, but I won't underestimate them the way I did the Lakers. Not underestimating them is #1 on today's list, here are numbers #5 through #2:
5. GET BRADLEY TO PLAY LIKE HE DID IN DENVER:
Avery Bradley, despite having a great game in Denver, was terrible last night in LA. He had just 6 points on 2/7 shooting. This was a huge downfall for him and he needs to get himself back on track.
4. MORE CONSISTENCY FROM TERRY:
Last night, Jason Terry shot just 3/8 from the field. He hasn't had a very good year, but his numbers have improved recently. But whenever they play a bad team, he goes back to his old ways. Fix this.
3. REBOUND:
Last night, the Celtics were out-rebounded by LA 49-34. Every possession that the C's had was a one and done while the Lakers seemed to get 2-3 shots every time. This needs a lot of improvement.
2. BETTER START:
Last night's first quarter dictated the rest of the game for the C's. They never managed to recover from the early 9-point deficit. They need the opening quarter to be close tomorrow night if they're gonna win.
Tip-off for tomorrow's game will be at 9:00 pm ET. Live Game Updates will be available here.
