The Celtics are currently riding their longest winning streak of the year and will look to extend it when they host the Nuggets tonight. The Nuggets are having a great year, as they are 33-18. This makes them fourth in the western conference. If you think this is an easy win, you are wrong. It will be probably be just as tough as last Sunday's win over LA. I still think that the C's will pull it out on their home court, but it will be hard. Here are tonight's five things:
5. HOPE BRADLEY STARTS MAKING SHOTS:
Avery Bradley has not quite gotten shooting down this year. Against the Lakers, Bradley shot just 4/11. That stat won't hurt the team against the weak Lakers, but it could against Denver.
4. LOOK FOR TERRY:
Jason Terry had one of his best games of the year on Thursday night. Terry had 15 points on 5/6 shooting. If he's making his shots, then keep giving him more. He has finally turned it to the player they signed.
3. KEEP REBOUNDING:
The Celtics rebounded pretty well against the Lakers, as they had a 48-43 advantage. They just need to keep doing this. Make sure Wilcox and KG crash the boards.
2. GET COLLINS TO THE LINE:
Last Sunday against the Clippers, Jason Collins shot a perfect 5/5 from the free throw line. He has not shot a single free throw since. He's a lot better at it than we thought, so let's capitalize on it.
1. GET A BIG LEAD EARLY:
The Celtics have a ton of momentum on their side right now and it can only get better. If they can get a twenty point lead at halftime, then it's a guaranteed win. I think that there is a good chance that this will happen.
Tip-off for tonight's game will be at 6:00 pm ET. Live Game Updates will be available here.
