Serves hot dogs and leads the team all in the same night

The Celtics have finally put together a performance they can be proud of and against a worthy opponent too. The team has been struggling mightily and the players haven't been putting forth a consistent effort but the energy from Garnett inspired a monster performance. The initial quarter looked bleak and the Celtics seemed to be playing like nothings changed but that completely changed at the start of the second. Courtney Lee put forth one of his best games as a member of the team while Sully was a beast on the boards. There's still a lot of skepticism needed when discussing the team but there were some positives.
Garnett was a huge factor in the game tonight whether it was with his scoring or just pure adrenaline that seemed to motivate the team. He's been one of the few consistent players that has been consistent with his effort and has repeatedly dipped into the fountain of youth to put out some great games. He's one of the few Celtics this season that can be 1-10 but has an emotional impact on the outcome.
Lee was a aggressive with his shot and the team finally seemed to look for him after he hit a couple shots. Though I'd still be careful in saying he's turned the corner he's definitely shown strides since the beginning of the season. If he can show improvement in his three point shot then he can be a huge help in spreading the court.

| Some life from Rondo defending Paul George |
Paul Pierce had a good all around game as he produced 6 assists 5 rebounds and 13 points while playing solid defense against Paul George. Though his scoring has been on a roller coaster ride his leadership has been evident throughout the year. He constantly has uplifted fellow players and shown little panic in the teams ability to overcome this adversity.
Sullinger has again shown why he deserves to get significant time because of his work ethic and hard work. He rebounds with a passion and goes after the ball no matter his deficiencies physically. Games like this give hope for the Celtics' future because between him Rondo and Bradley we're going to have a hardworking team that hustles and plays Celtics' ball.
The score might steer people into thinking blowout but theres a lot of improvement the team can do. Jeff Green put together another forgettable game being a non factor like what seems to be a usual thing. Bass could grab some more rebounds but the eight he pulled down were helpful. With Bass it's not necessarily the rebounds he does grab as much as the critical ones he misses. His jumper hasn't been around but maybe like Lee's we'll see some improvement coexisting with the team's improving record. This is a step forward for the team but it's a long season and we've seen a lot of inconsistent play but this is a great way to start off a run.
