As you might expect, Tommy had a rough night with the officiating as bad as it was in this game. I mean what happened to home cooking? Tommy was quiet for a bit after Ilyasova's elbow to Green's head was ignored and my hubby said that poor Tommy was probably on a respirator after that egregious no call. Here's tonight's Best of Tommy and there's lots of good tweets as always. Tommy started out with some well deserved words of praise for The Captain.
Jeff Green started off strong and played well in this game, earning a few Tommy Points for his effort.
And Jeff wasn't the only one earning Tommy Points for his effort. Jared Sullinger was very active on the boards, fighting for rebounds and on the offensive rebound, he put it back in for a score earning him two Tommy Points on that play.
There was no shortage of reasons to complain about the officiating in this game. It was terrible with bogus calls on the Celtics and no calls on the Bucks. And Tommy let them know about it too! Here's a sampling of his thoughts on the refs.
And on the inability of any of the starters other than Paul Pierce to hit any shots.
I agree with Tommy on this one and spend a lot of time yelling at the TV about it. They need to be more aggressive in going to the basket. They settle for way too many jumpers and when they aren't falling like tonight it's brutal. Tommy and I both think they should drive more.
And Courtney Lee was tonight's Tommy Award winner.
