The Red Claws won their 3rd straight game and second at home as they rolled over the Canton Charge 103-90. Celtic rookie Kris Joseph led all scorers with 21 points to go with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Celtic camp invitee Micah Downs continued to play well, finishing with 13 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists 1 steal and 1 block. point guard Shelvin Mack played a great game with 18 points, 10 assists and 3 steals.
Kris Joseph has been back and forth between Boston and Maine and this past week, he was recalled by the Celtics on Tuesday, and then sent back to Maine Friday. The Celtics other rookie, Fab Melo, missed his second straight game because of a strained quadriceps.
The Red Claws are first in the D-League's East Division. They play on the road next weekend, Friday at Fort Wayne and Sunday at Erie.
