In all pro sports, there are exciting games. Those exciting games only have a few stats that are considered important. For example, in football, they may say that the quarterback has 6 touchdown passes. But you never hear how many tackles the offensive lineman had. Because some stats are forgotten, I have created this column. I hope you enjoy it.
Well, the Celtics are back to two games above .500. It wasn't pretty, and I still consider this a bad game, but at least they won. Good thing they get to go home now to host the Nets. Pierce had a great game. Garnett had a good game. Rondo extended his streak. But I remember saying in my five things post that they need Green to dominate. Green followed his best game of the year with his worst. The "dominate" guy who they traded Perk for had just 1 point in 20 minutes, 0/9 shooting, and 1/2 free throws.
You can't say that he didn't get enough shots because he did. 9 shots should be enough to score 10 points. This guy is very inconsistent. When he has one good game, he follows it with 2 or 3 bad games. Green needs to turn this around. I'll put it this way. When he dominated, they solidly beat the Thunder. When he didn't make a shot, they barely beat the Magic.
