The Celtics Recall Kris Joseph from Maine

With Rondo out for tonight's game and Chris Wilcox and Jeff Green questionable, the Celtics have recalled Kris Joseph from the Maine Red Claws. Wilcox left the Celtics game vs the Nets with some type of illness and Jeff Green injured his knee in the same contest. Neither player practiced yesterday and are listed as questionable for tonight.

Joseph, a 6’7 forward, averaged 25.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.0 block in two games while on assignment. Joseph could help fill in for Green if his knee is still swollen or sore, but the point guard position is where the real void will be tonight. Kris will miss the Red Claws home opener tonight, where they will also be wearing green and white, but I'm sure he's more than happy to re-join the parent club. Maybe a hungry rookie will give the team a boost.
