After the tough stretch of games (7 games in 10 nights) that the Celtics just finished, Doc gave them a light practice as he felt the team was still a bit tired.
Doc said he felt that Darko was more than likely not returning to the Celtics. His mother's illness has been weighing on him for awhile and that he could see the change in Darko when he found out that his mom was not doing well. If he leaves, it will be with Doc's blessing. Also, Doc said that they don't plan to rush to fill his roster spot.
On everyone's minds are the upcoming games with the Spurs and then the Thunder. Both teams are essentially the same as they were last season and both Doc and Sully talked about how both teams have an advantage in that their chemistry is already strong while the Celtics are still working to build their chemistry with mostly new players this season.
