Everyone knows how I feel about NBA officiating. I feel that most are either incompetent or they have an agenda. They make star calls. They show favoritism. (Have you watched a Heat game lately?) They ignore some obvious fouls committed right in front of them while calling others from across the court without a line of site to the action. This season they can review fouls to determine if they are flagrant 1 or 2 or a regular foul. You would think after taking time to review a foul they would get it right. But maybe that's asking too much. They reviewed the above clothesline by Keith Bogans on Leandro Barbosa and called it a regular foul. There is nothing regular about grabbing a guy around the neck and then hanging on around the neck and almost choking the guy. This was a very dangerous foul and should have been a flagrant 1 at the least. But then again, why should we expect the Three Stooges - er- NBA referees to get it right?
