Funny that they hate on Tommy for being a homer, but when I watch other teams' announcers it seems that they are just as much homers, as they should be. Imma start this thread off With how much I dislike Kevin Garnett now. Back in his Wolves days I really liked him as a player and a person but seems ever since he was traded to beantown it seems hes become a wannabe tough guy/thug. Here’s hoping he keeps his antics in check so my blood pressure can stay at a reasonable (as reasonable as the Jazz will let it be) level.

I don’t find his “old man” game at all interesting. Not because it lacks nuance, but because it’s slow and I enjoy athleticism and speed on the perimeter. As for hatred – a strong word reserved in my case for Tommy Heinsohn. He’s the ugliest caller in the league.

To be honest I think a good defensive team gets the benefit of the doubt from the officials. It's a bit of a positive feedback-loop: reputation for good defense leads to getting calls; getting calls leads to better defense; and so on.
