Six of the SI Writers make their picks for Eastern and Western Conference Champs along with NBA Champion. No love for the Celtics at all. Kind of reminds me of the ESPN Predictions in 2008 where all but Tim Legler picked the Lakers to beat the Celtics. Here are the SI picks.

Only two people expect the Celtics to even make it to the ECF. The Pacers? The Knicks????? It's like the Celtics are the Rodney Dangerfield of the NBA. More bulletin board material for Doc. The more this team is disrespected the more they are going to be motivated. I'd rather come in as the underdog because everyone is gunning for the Heat and the Celtics will just take everyone by surprise.
