Ray Trying to Convince Himself He Made the Right Choice
Tuesday, October 23, 2012
Comments:
“Miami, they did everything they could,” Allen said. “It was like, even though they were limited money-wise, they were talking about how to play, how the game can be played and how they were going to incorporate me into the offense. “ ‘This is how we envision using you.’ It was better than what Boston was telling me and that was the team that I played on.”

OMG. How many teams have you played on Ray and you don't know the difference between meaningful honest conversation and a hard sell? Please let me know where you live so I can apply for a job at your local car dealership.

He was clearly slowed by the ankle injury

Ray Allen?

Slowed by injury?

He said the friction with Rondo began in 2009 when Rivers and Celtics president Danny Ainge proposed a trade that would have sent Allen and Rondo to Phoenix for Amare Stoudemire, Leandro Barbosa and the 14th overall pick in the 2010 draft. Allen said that, at the time, Ainge and Rivers “didn’t get along” with Rondo. “So, I called him and I told him, ‘hey they’re supposedly trading us to Phoenix because you and Danny and Doc don’t get along,’ ” Allen said. “ ‘So, whatever you can do.’ “So, for some reason, I guess he thought that I was … that I had something against him, or there were some issues. And I had no issues with him. I won with him.” Now, Allen says if Rondo “had issue with me, that’s on him.”

this is called trying to wash your hands of any sins you committed. Maybe just try taking a shower ray.

This post pretty much sums up my feelings on the matter. Thanks for writing it! I've been tired of the back and forth and the press trying to fuel some sort of 'feud' between one player and a franchise that is eager to move on. Yet no matter how many pieces Jackie MacMillan or Jessica Camerato write, RA's is the opinion that most of the media will accept. And you're right, the more he talks, the worse he makes himself look. What's that old saying, 'When you point the finger at someone else, you have three fingers pointing back at you'? I think something like that is going on here.

Hope the Celtics stopping responding to this and make the rest of their statements on the basketball court!
