Molly McGrath gives us the wrap up from both the Sixers game and the preseason. Most of the talk centers on Jeff Green and the key word is aggressiveness. Green said on Media Day that his goal this season was to be more aggressive and he has accomplished that goal so far. Both Doc and Jared Sullinger talk about how Green's aggressiveness has been the key for the Celtics so far this preseason.
Doc shares that last season was good for Green, even though he couldn't play. He was able to hang around with the team and build bonds with them through the season and now he feels comfortable, something that couldn't be said about him in the partial year he spent with the team before his surgery.
Green, for his part is very humble and talks about what he wants to work on and do better. He's ready to start the season though. The preseason was good but these guys. Green included, are ready for some real competition.
With their preseason games over with, they have a week now to prepare for opening night. Doc said they will take 2 days off and then will work on their stuff to prepare for the season. He's not just keying in on the one game, but has to think about 82 games. And the fans are ready for the games to start too. I know I am!!
