The Heat played their first preseason game today and lost 92-79. It's not a really big loss because Wade, Chalmers and Haslem sat out. But I thought it would be good to do our part as fans and start hating on the Heat early. It is interesting that they are already seeing the problem with Ray needing screens to get open beyond the arc. They are also already questioning LeBron's shooting. Several are also feeling that one of their big free agent acquisitions, Rashard Lewis, is finished. When you compare these comments to the optimistic comments from Celtics fans, they are a pretty sad group. Good times.

I'm not sure what we are trying to get out of Pittman. I feel we keep him cause they don't want to drop him and then he becomes good or something. But he won't ever, he is horrible.

Lewis has ways to go defensively on this team. His defensive position, particularly in the post, was terrible a few times.

Stand and shoot Lewis, that's all we need you for.

Allen is so so smooth, it looks like he does everything with ease.

He's clearly tweaked something with his shot, all but one of his misses have been short.

That's what I'm thinking, his jumper has been broken since that game. Even in the Olympics he couldn't shoot and right now his jumper just looks like trash, horrible form, footwork, setup, etc. It's like watching '07 Lebron all over again.

LeBron clanked the free throws too.. He needs to find his stroke.. Improve the action.. Or maybe he needs time after the tweak..

He shot 39% from 16-23 last year during the RS (his worst % since 2008) and an atrocious 33% in the playoffs. He never really got his jumper "right" ever last season outside of 15 feet.

I'm not super optimistic it will magically change though, because he struggled with his jumper at times throughout the whole season last year. He never really got in a groove with his shooting.

Bosh can fill up a stat line like this, and have people raving about his play, but as soon as Wade gets back, he'll be back to disappearing in the 2nd half of games. It's weird, but there's only one ball.

My concern with Allen was exactly what I'm seeing. We weren't going to run as many off the ball screens for him to get open. I see him on a lot of plays just standing by the 3 point line doing nothing.

There's no Wade and no Lebron and he's still standing around. How about running some plays for the guy?

I'm sure Spo has plays he'll draw up for Ray. However, most of the time our offense will not run set plays. As a result, Ray will be reduced to a court spacer a lot of times.

I honestly feel Rashard Lewis is VERY close to done playing ball.

As far as Rashard Lewis, yes he was injured but his game was done last year. He is washed up. I don`t see him getting minutes over Mike Miller, Shane Battier, Udonis and even Jorts.
