Against all odds, the Celtics had 2 players miss last season due to open heart surgery. Jeff Green and Chris Wilcox are scar buddies now and they will forever be linked by that shared experience. They are both back with the Celtics this season and thankful for another chance to play the game they love with the Celtics.
These two guys are not just good basketball players, they are great people. In August
we posted the story about Chris Wilcox taking a truck load of supplies to a food bank to help out.
Earlier this month we posted about Jeff Green hosting young heart patients at the Garden and sharing his story with them. Today, we have yet another story about Chris giving back to the community. Chris was at Children's Hospital in Boston visiting with young heart patients. I'm proud to have these two guys on the Celtics. They are definitely good people.
