The Celtics closed out their European camp with a big win over EA7 Emporio Armani Milano. The play of starters and bench alike had Celtics fans feeling very good about the upcoming season. The turnovers that plagued their first game were gone and the defense was tighter and players seem to be getting more used to playing with each other. Sully, Darko and Green all impressed once again but from top to bottom, the play was solid.

Doc shook up the starting lineup, inserting Sully at the 4 and Jet at the 2 along with Pierce, KG and Rondo. It seems that Rondo to Jet is going to replace Rondo to Ray just fine. And the best part about it is that they don't have to set 3 screens to get him open. He gets himself open and can bring the ball up and shoot the three off the break or he can catch and shoot and will be very effective with both. JET showed that he can run the point efficiently along with running with Rondo and finished with 11 points on 4-8 shooting (3-5 beyond the arc), 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.
Rondo had a perfect first quarter on the offensive end. For the second game in a row, he shot the ball with confidence. He didn't hesitate when the defense sagged off of him and the shots went in. Rondo was 7-7 from the field and 2-2 from the line with 2 assists in the first quarter. After sitting out the second quarter, he came back in the 3rd and concentrated on distributing the ball. Finished with 17 points, 6 assists, and 4 rebounds.

Darko once again impressed with his defense and his rebounding. He struggled a bit on offense, scoring just 2 points from the line, but he pulled down 9 rebounds, dished out 3 assists, and blocked 4 shots. He played some intimidating defense under the basket and forced players to change their shots. If he can keep that production up, he will be a steal for the Celtics.
Sully was impressive again. He plays with great confidence and has great instincts on the court. He boxes out and fights for rebounds and plays strong in the post on offense, something we haven't seen in recent years. He finished with 9 points 7 rebounds, 3 on the offensive end, 1 assist, and 1 block. He's already playing with the poise of a vet and with a bit more experience and sessions with KG he is going to really help the team.
Green again showed that he's going to be very good this season with 17 points on 5-9 shooting with 3 rebounds, and 1 assist. His versatility is going to cause mismatches and give the Celtics a player that can play in the post or hit the outside shot. He's been exciting to watch the past 2 games.
Courtney Lee bounced back from a poor first game with 11 points on 4-5 shooting including a big dunk along with 2 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. He showed that he is very athletic and another player whose versatility is going to make the Celtics tough to match up with.
Collins in his first action didn't score but had 3 rebounds and 1 assist. Darko seems to have passed both Collins and Fab on the depth chart so far but it sure is nice to have a capable veteran who will give you solid defense without a lot of mistakes on the bench. Fab also had a nice block and is going to be a very special player given some experience.
Bass has been solid and is getting his shot off quicker this season. Very quietly, he put up 11 points on 5-5 shooting to go with 8 rebounds.
Dionte Christmas made the most of his time on the court with 9 points on 4-6 shooting to go with 4 rebounds and just 1 turnover in 9 minutes of play. Smith once again played 11 minutes but struggled, shooting just 1-6 from the field.
