Some of the Celtics participated in a golf tournament today and as
always, the Celtics media is right there and tweeting some great quotes
from players, coach and GM. I just love Jason Terry's attitude. He's
definitely quickly becoming a favorite. Gotta love anyone who's ready
to kill Heat and Lakers before their first game. We get confirmation
that KG will stay at center. Kris Joseph is impressing. Don't look for
another guard before training camp. And Doc loves his back court. I'm so excited for this season I can hardly stand it!!!
Jason Terry at today's golf tournament: "My mission is to kill, whether it's the Heat, whether it's the Lakers. Hopefully both."

#Celtics coach Doc Rivers: Darko will either embrace system/Kevin Garnett's ways or he won't. There's usually not a lot if guys in between.

Jackie Mac's article today is a good one. She had this quote from Doc:
"It didn't cost us much," Rivers said. "He has it in him, and if we can get it out of him, then great. If not, well, I'd rather take a chance on a really talented guy."
LEX
I somehow missed that part of the quote the first time through.
"really talented guy"
See.
We're not all on drugs.
Nor did anyone doctor all of those videos.
: )
Steamship -- really good guy with great work ethic.
Darko -- very talented with fleeting work ethic.
Doc knows the result he needs to accomplish.
Damn it would be great if darko responds.
I don't think we are talking about POB here. POB never did anything remarkable against the best bigs in the NBA
Yeah, Darko has the talent and as I sad in the Darko/Stiemsma article today, if Darko had come up from a lower draft pick, we'd be talking about what a steal he was.
I love that Doc and Danny are going to give the kids we have now fight for those 2 spots. I like them. I think Christmas and Joseph make the team. Smith goes to Maine or Europe.
POB did something remarkable. He is the one player who didn't pay attention to KG's lessons and was frozen out by him. I mean that anyone would ignore KG is pretty remarkable.
POB remains a very stark object lesson to every big coming in. Ignore KG's tutoring at your own risk.
