The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that The Magic will sign former Celtic E'Twaun Moore. I'm very happy to hear that E'Twaun has found a home. I felt terrible for him when the trade went down. He had just stated in an interview how confident he was that the Celtics would keep him on the roster because of how well he was playing. And, he was playing very well. Then, there was the heartbreaking photo of E'twaun leaving the arena after being told, while he was warming up for a game, that he had been traded. And if being traded wasn't bad enough, the poor guy was cut right after the trade. So, I'm thrilled to see that he is landing with a young and rebuilding team that should give him plenty of opportunity to play and show what he can do. He's a good kid and I'll be cheering for him to succeed. I wouldn't be surprised to see him light the Celtics up when they play the Magic.
In other news, Sean Williams, who was also included in the trade for Courtney Lee, was waived by the Rockets today just ahead of the August 30 deadline when his contract would have become guaranteed.
