I have tried to find a way emailing Danny Ainge himself, bit to no avail ( no surprise there). My son, Zach Blodgett (yes, I'm a proud Mom tooting her sons horn, mostly because he won't), to continue, Zach is currently playing AAU basketball in Florida (July 2011), as part of the Maine MAC team coached by Carl Parker ( yes, MAINE). I want to thank Danny Ainge for approaching my son (and others on the team--interestingly 3 of the 4 were all on the same high school team that won the Maine state high school championships this year under GREAT Coach Roger Reed at Bangor Maine High School). Zach was thrilled that Mr. Ainge took the time to talk to them and I know this is probably part of P.R., but it made me, as a parent, feel that all of my unaffordable contributions to Zachs desire to "just wanting to play the game", were all well worth it. Thanks Mr. Ainge,... Don't ever under rate contacts you initiate to these kids..they mean more to them and their dreams than you can imagine. Thank you..
