Comments from the Other Side - Lakers Game 7 6/17
Friday, June 18, 2010
by FLCeltsFan 12:11 PM
The last edition of Comments from the Other Side for the season. It was a tough loss. It was amazing that Lakers fans complained through the first three quarters when the refs were letting them play be calling it fairly even. Then when their team got 21 free throws in the 4th quarter alone, no more complaints about the fouls. At least the last poster was being honest. I stopped at the end of the game. Couldn't handle reading all their celebrating. I'm taking a few days off from posting and will probably take a week or so off from doing the links. After spending 4-5 hours a day gathering and posting links and posting game threads etc, I desperately need some time to heal and regroup. I am very proud of this Celtics team regardless of the outcome. It's going to be an interesting off season.
I got the feeling the Lakers were using a lot more Energy than Boston and the Old 3 were saving it for game 7. It might not have been planned that way but after only ONE day between game 5 and 6 the C's knew after all the energy they put in game 5 they would not have enough in the tank for game 6 and would use it for game 7.
At their best, the Lakers are better than the Celtics-- they've proven that much this series.
Time to take out the trash. One last time.
In fisher's defense they handcuffed him last night...looks like doc's whinning about fish paid off last night...
Without Perkins it's going to be tough for them he was the only one that gave our big men trouble on the defensive end and on the glass without him our big men are going to destroy them in the paint
Celtics Activate Scalabrine I'm scared.....
Didn't Scallywag torch us two years ago in one game? You must respect his three.
The Lakers' best is better than the Celtics' best.
If Phil is as good as I think he is, they will have something new as a backup. I mean, you think Doc Rivers won't be making an adjustment? Phil has to plan what the adjustment will be and provide a counter.
Boston bores me.. They offer no challenge and no competition.. Cakewalk..
133-90 Lakers. Lakers score 2 more points than Boston did in 2008 game 6 and Boston scores 2 less. Lakers celebrate throughout the 4th quarter.
I got that feeling we will blow them out, just like game 6.
I hope Phil has shown them the game 6 videotape when the Celtics beat us by 39. They were classless and wanted to beat us down. Now it's our turn
With Perkins being out I just don't see the Celtics defense holding up for 4 quarters against the Lakers offense tonight. Celtics offense will probably be better with Perkins out of the game but there defense will suffer.
If Boston wins tonight, it's not going to be because they are better, it's going to be because they worked harder and wanted it more.
I just hope the Lakers remember all game long that 39-point shellacking at the hands of Boston in 2008. That alone should be inspiration enough.
LA wins, and I want Phil to light up a cigar in the middle of Staples while Russell hands Kobe the MVP trophy
I wanna see the faces of pierce, garnett,Allen, nate and this MF big pig depressed!
David Stern got his Game 7. Now the refs can call the game like it should be called
We have to keep Pierce in check and play the same good defense like we do on Allen. We can live with Garnett and Rondo trying to score. Make everything tough and somebody please knock Nate's little *** on the floor.
Lakers trophy will have Celtics blood on it.
Sheed is either going to make or break them. You know what he's going to bring defensively, but on offense it's a different story. He could put up 4-5 points or he could have a 15+ point game. Hopefully our bigs contain him, we don't want Perkin's replacement beating us. Imagine the irony?
How far into the game will Rasheed Wallace play before fouling out?
Ok lakers fans lets not underestimate our opponent,I don't care who's not playing.....if we win then we can go crazy but we don't have 4 wins and I don't see a trophy yet so until then lets not be to hyped up
Perk was on the mind of the C's last game. They will be a lot more focused, both teams will. Its going to be a close game.
I don't care what anybody says but, each and every rebound we get destroys their hearts. Win the boards that's all there is to it. The Celtics are the worst rebounding team. Let's make sure they keep that stat tomorrow.
Anyone worried, that the Celtics will go after Bynum's knee or Kobe's finger in this game?
How exactly do you go after ones finger?
Do we really want Pierce to celebrate on our home court lets get THIS
I bet the Celtics game plan is to get Pau Gasol in foul trouble early. Because without Perkins, Pau might have a field day. I think Pau can muscle KG and use his quickness on Rasheed.
Surprise, mchale just picked the Celtics to won and he rarely )if ever_ picked the lakers...but our own magic picks against the lakers left and right...
Maybe Perkins will come out in a wheelchair in the 4th quarter and light us up for 30.
I have a strange feeling about tonight's game. I think the Celtics will start outon fire and it will be close. This game will be decided in the last 30 seconds.
I hope they don't start setting cars on fire if the lakers win
For gods sake I hope Mike Wilbon and Jon Barry take the Celtics to win so I can all but guarantee the Lakers will win
No what I'm getting tired of? Seeing that (bleep) 9-2 stat... The Celtics' record in the previous 11 finals against the Lakers.
Hey Magic actually picked the Lakers to win tonight lol
We can't relax. Boston always seems to bounce back from bad losses
A wounded dog is a dangerous one. We can't let the Celtics surprise us.
We need to pop Rondo right in his boo-boo.
We have so many things stacked up in our favor and yet I am as nervous as I have ever been before a game.
Kobe looks like he gonna kill someone
I don't like the body language of the Lakers they look tired
Damn we are crashing the boards big time. Great, great sign.
Rondo picks up a quick foul. Love it
Refs letting em play. I like
Sheed is hacking every play man!
Does Doc Rivers ever say anything that isn't solely for the benefit of the cameras?
Gasol is playing soft again
Guard Wallace! He is the x-factor.
The entire Celtics team should have fouled out already
What a (bleep) joke - swallowing their whistles like little (bleep)
Refs letting them get away with manslaughter just because they can't get a rebound
Laker offense is looking very lost. Celtics' D is intense right now - we going to have to figure it out
Seriously, they're getting away with beating the crap out of Lakers players, how much did somebody pay for the game to go green?
We have the advantage in the middle and our bigs can't hit water if they fell out of a boat!
We can't finish at the basket, can't draw fouls.
Wow. Lakers are not going to get a FT tonight no matter what. Unfortunately, that favors the Celtics. I'm all for letting them play, but L.A. Is getting mugged right now.
Lakers are going to have to bleed to get a foul called
Not calling fouls definitely favors Celtics BS bball.
Man we are getting hacked with no fouls.
Celtics playing harder then us (got away with some fouls though). But this is game 7 cant worry about officiating
The Celtics are not playing harder - they're playing ROUGHER and being allowed to by the refs. HUGE difference.
Refs clearly are not going to give us any calls at all, to try and even up the game. That's just pure corruption.
Seems like Boston is getting every break so far in this game from the refs.
We need to send Mbenga out there and have him take the head off one of the Big Three, if the refs keep swallowing their whistles.
This D won't get it done.
Those are clearly fouls by the Celtics. that's not just being physical. Refs just want a close game. Celtics can't compete with the laker boards.
Lakers D is rather poor.
Boston is putting multiple defenders on Pau and Kobe and challenging everyone else to make a shot.
Celtics allowed to foul on every inside shot with no calls, and Celtics getting most of their points off of uncalled moving screens.
Big Baby has as many points as Kobe
This one's probably already decided, folks. If they're able to play "defense" like THIS? No one can beat that.
Boston's D is suffocating tonight.
Celtics getting good shots and Lakers getting bad ones only thing is we are killing them on the glass.
The Lakers look nervous. They rush thing way too much. Especially Kobe! I can't believe he gets nervous.
The Celtics are simply out executing the Lakers so far, especially on defense.
I'm not liking the flow of this game so far. The refs are letting the Celtics get away with too much. They have already missed like 4 or 5 fouls.
Refs are feeling sorry for Boston because they don't have Perkins
The team that won the 1st quarter has won every game so far in this series
Our bigs NEVER give us an advantage offensively, they're too weak. All one can hope for is that our bigs show up DEFENSIVELY, and focus on rebounding.
Celtics are playing harder right now
They expect to win now. Theyre taking this for granted now!! We need game 6 energy!!!!!!!!!!
I have the feeling this is already over, just like I felt in all of our other losses early on.
EPIC CHOKE JOB BY KOBE BRYANT
Well, one thing we've all learned about Kobe -- he isn't going to quit shooting.
Ray Allen is clawing people and they don't call it 75% of the time.
They've turned the defense up and lakers are struggling.. Phil, DO SOMETHING!
Potentially down 9 to a team missing their starting C. Way to go guys.
We're playing terrible.....thank god we're tall
There you go 3 on KG
Reminds me of Game 4, had our chance to win and the stupid team kept on bricking easy shots
Lol jack allowing garnett to crash
Terrible refereeing tonight. To open the game they allowed the C's to manhandle us in the paint which didn't allow us to jump out to a quick start, Now they are calling ticky tacks on us. This is a screw job big time.
The refs are trying to make up 4 the absence of Perkins and this is bogus.
When Ron has to carry the load offensively, you know we're in trouble.
Don't blame the refs guys, we're just not executing on offense. They're sending 2-3 guys at Kobe and Pau on every touch, and they just aren't making the right play. They're trying to be the hero, and failing miserably.
When ray Allen misses an open 3, count your blessings
Damn Boston getting all the calls
The no replay is reminding me of the 2004 Finals when ABC was censoring all the bad calls against Lakers
You all wanted Joey Crawford well now you got him, still happy we got him
This game is RIGGED PERIOD..Stern wants it to be super close for the ratings
Wel'll get those fouls when it counts....don't worry. This is just to keep it interesting.
I've seen a lot of rigging in my day but this game is officially 100 percent RIGGED
Look in the mirror Kobe. We're losing because you suck right now! And the refs are giving them free points
Refs are feeling sorry for the C's because of Perkins, and trying to keep them in the game.
This ain't the refs Kobe is just playing either dumb or he's scared!
26% from the field. Kobe is a complete joke on offense. The Celtics are fouling him on EVERY SINGLE SHOT. This is not basketball. This is BS. We need someone off the bench to literally punch one of Kobe's defenders in the mouth.
I thought Perkins' injury would help Pau but instead he's being outplayed by Rasheed Wallace
This team might not be good enough to win..same crap from 2008
Kobe is such a stupid player sometimes.
Game over ladies and gents I'm sick of this team.
This team looks completely unprepared against a team with a ridiculous amount of weaknesses.
Phil doesn't have anything up his sleeve.. He is not trying to help this team.. it's just the same old, same old..
I don't have a good feeling about this game. But it's not over yet.
It's just ironic we bring it down to 6 without Kobe but we go down while he's involved. Celtics are clamping down on him not only double teams but triple teams. It's hard to get out a pass with 3 defenders.
I think Kobe should just leave the game.
Refs not letting up. Showing their killer instinct.
Game 6 blowout was the worst thing to happen to la cause they came in overconfident
If we somehow, by some miracle, win this game, its NOT on Kobe..he doesn't deserve MVP for this series, it goes to Ron
All Kobe is doing is bitching at his teammates, whining to the refs, and playing like crap. He doesn't deserve a ring.
The refs will not call a foul for Kobe complete BS
This team is a (bleep) tease....keep getting close and then letting it slip away..we aint winning this
4 pt game after 3. After all the crappy play we can still win it!
It's pathetic that the Celtics are playing like crap and we are losing
Yes, we got the Cs to start complaining about calls. Get them frustrated and we can take this!!
This is it LA hasn't won a 4th quarter, it ends tonite.
Well, the lakers in the 4th have been bad all postseason for the most part. This would be a great time to finally have a good one.
Lets hope Celtics play (bleep) as hell in the 4th and blow it like there notorious for doing
This is where the refs can either help us or kill us.
Kobe is doing what he always does negatively! Blame others for his mistakes and now he's just choking!
It looks like the refs are going to make this come own to a buzzer beater.
Celtics are playing just as bad as us.
The nba will be finished if they hand this to the Celtics
We've had EVERY SINGLE CHANCE to come back and blown it. I just don't see us winning
Refs are helping Boston way too much.
Stop whining, Kobe. You fouled the crap out of the dude.
A LOT OF CONTACT BUT I'M GLAD THEY ARE LETTING THEM PLAY BALL ......
Gasol is the biggest choker I've ever seeeeeeeeen
I'm calling it, Lakers not winning this one. Mentally weak, 9 missed FT in a game 7? You kidding me?
This team deserves to lose..missing all those free throws
Kobe!!! When it matters
Things are going right for the Lakers right now
Pierce is the only guy that can beat us now.. If we shut him down, we got this
Allen, too. He's shot horribly but he's the type who'll nail a shot anytime.
This buries all the boo hoo about KG going down last year. Argument settled, the Lakers are better.
Wow, refs have had their finger print on this series way to much.
Do the refs get a ring too for winning this for the lakers?
Can you even argue what the refs did for the lakers? I mean, I'm a lakers fan but I hate when refs have WAY too much to do with the actual game. Its basically a flawed game if you ask me.

Today's Official Report Finals Game 7 6/17
by FLCeltsFan 9:14 AM
Today's Referees are:
Joey Crawford
Overall Home Team W/L 41/33
Playoff Home Team Win % 75%
Fouls called per game 49.3
Foul % Called on Home Team 47.3
Road Team Techs/game 1.1
Home Team Techs/game 1.3
Crawford has been officiating games since 1977 and has officiated more play-off games (266+) and NBA Finals Games (38+) than any other active referee. Crawford officiated 3 of the Celtics games so far in the playoffs with mixed results. Game 5 of the Cleveland series was very well officiated and the Celtics won it. However, his second game was game 5 of the Orlando series, which was one of the worst officiated games of the playoffs. Watch game 5 again and you will see a host of missed and blown calls that give Orlando the edge. He also called game 1 of the Finals, which was too tightly called but was called in LA's favor with almost every Celtics player in early foul trouble. He also officiated game 5 of the Finals in Boston, which the Celtics won but in which the Lakers had a 26-13 free throw advantage. Crawford can be a good ref and he can also lose his cool if challenged.
Dan Crawford
Home Team W/L 46-34
Home Team Win % in playoffs 55%
Calls 44 fouls per game
45.4% of fouls are called on the home team
.8 techs called on the road team,
.9 Techs called on the home team
Crawford has officiated 1,600+ regular season games, 190+ play-off games and 18 NBA Finals games. Prior to the NBA, Crawford officiated in high school for 12 years, 8 years at the collegiate level (MVC and CCAC) and 4 years in the CBA (NBA development league). Crawford is a long time Chicago resident and was involved in a bit of controversy when he officiated a game in the Bulls series last year and then was seen exiting the arena with family members all decked out in Bulls gear. This post season, he called game 2 in Cleveland and Game 1 in Orlando, both Celtic wins and game 3 of the Finals, which the Celtics lost but which was evenly called.
Scott Foster
Home Team W/L 47/34
Home Team Playoff Win % 60%
Calls 46 fouls/game
46.4% of fouls called on Home Team
.7 T's called on road Team
1 T called on home team
Foster has officiated over 720+ regular season games and 25+ play-off games. Foster has 2 years officiating experience in the CBA. Prior to becoming an official, Foster modeled for department store mannequin mold makers. He came into the public eye as the best friend of former referee Tim Donaghy. In his book, Donaghy describes Foster as a very honest and good guy who knew nothing of his gambling. However, recently Donaghy described Foster as a company man who will do what is asked of him to keep his seniority among refs. He hasn't given the Celtics any big problems with bad calls that I recall. He officiated Game 5 in Miami and game 4 of the Finals, both of which the Celtics won and game 4 in Orlando, which the Celtics lost.
These are 3 experienced and for the most part good refs. Hopefully they will call the game fair and let them play. It's game 7 and there won't be any talk of trying to extend the series so hopefully the players will be the story in this game and not the refs.

Comments from the Other Side - Lakers Game 6 6/15
by FLCeltsFan 12:45 PM
Take it one game at a time and please Gasol show up if it's only Kobe the Celtics are going to celebrate on our home floor
Last thing I wanna see in this world are the leprechauns winning/celebrating a championship in our own floor.
After watching that disgrace of an effort in G5 how can anyone feel good about game 6... Forget all the problems on offense, we pull down some rebounds and get stops we win last game and have two games in which to clinch the title... We need to win the glass. Pau needs to make himself wider and get in better position for defensive boards. How he doesn't realize that at this point I don't know.
Artest should just hurt the Celtics whole starting lineup he isn't doing anything for us might as well make yourself useful and have some flashbacks of Indiana Artest
We're winning this. Nuff said.
Lakers haven't lost 3 straight playoff games since 2006, and I don't expect that to change. Lakers W in a close game.
Low I.Q. Certain players, ahem, Odom and Ron, are just not very intelligent. They WILL make mistakes again, no matter what. We have to win DESPITE them. They will make those screwups again, Lakers as a team just need to minimize that.
It bothers me that we're down in this series, when in my head we are clearly the better team. Sure we have weaknesses, but so do the Celtics. It clearly is going to come down to who wants it more.
The reason we are down is partly the Celtics luck getting critical calls their way down the stretch, partly the fact that our defense hasn't been that good, we've struggled offensively and have deviated from the game plan, and our other players haven't been aggressive enough.
I have a sick sinking feeling in my gut this game won't end well for us. I hope I am wrong though...
Now all I can hope for is that the Lakers defend Staples. I know benches don't travel, I didn't know Gasol, Artest, and LO don't travel either.
We need others to step up, if artest and say odom and another bench player can have a good game we win. BUT ITS A BIG IF. Honestly guys I'm realllllllly frickin worried, I don't know how so many laker fans can be this cocky. I'm scared rite now.
In the Staples we'll get basketball calls, no wrestling calls anymore.
I really question this teams spirit right now. I worry about everyone not named Fish or Kobe. There seems to be some discontent and some frustration for obvious reasons. Players seem snappy with each other. I hope they have not lost their resolve and sense of teamplay. I hope they still believe they can win, because they can.
We have been getting outplayed these last 2 games, game 5 HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE REFS, they have just been playing better then us. I'm worried.
Yes, the concern of the Lakers is spirit, energy, willpower, killer instinct, and a sense of urgency. They are lacking all of those.
Just bench odom. God I am tired with that air head [or am I insulting the air heads by saying this]
Lamar suddenly sucks since he got married I thinkin a divorce if this happens we are nba champs lets all pray for a divorce whoooo
The damn refs better not get involved in this one, but all of us laker fans are not necessarily all upset. If you think of the way home court works in the 2-3-2 format, we still have home court in Sterns odd format and we play much better at home.
One thing for sure is the Lakers can't play from behind, I don't remember the last playoff game in 2010 that the Lakers fell behind and came back to win.
If we win the title Kobe is the greatest, never have I seen someone play with such a garbage team that everyone overrates just to take away from Kobe's accomplishments
If we can't win game 6 of the finals in our own house, then we don't deserve to win this thing.
This is like watching your kids playing football and watching them get bullied around by the bullies and seeing them not defend them selves.
The Celtics shouldn't be able to get away with the constant fouling no calls they get away with in Boston. Sure they play good defense, but lets be real here that has a lot to do with what they get away with.
I'm anticipating artest getting into a fight with someone
If we don't win I'm retiring from the NBA and moving to the WNBA where physical play is allowed to happen.
Seems like just about everybody is against us from the media ESPN/ABC to most nba analysts.
There is no point in me watching because we can't clinch and I risk watching those c***s celebrating on our floor.
This Celtics team is hardened, confident, and hungry. They will give us nothing and nor will the refs who are once again letting them play like animals. We will have to out hustle and outplay them in order to win.
Just play Lakers basketball and if that don't work just score more points than the c's.
The way I seeit is that Celtics have a good chance of winning tonight. Hey, don't get me wrong - I'm a BIG LAKER fan too. Celtics play an extremely outstanding DEFENSE and that is our problem - no one seems to take a basket except Kobe. That is the reason Boston is in the FINALS - Defense wins championship and you can see them play hard on the floor. And the LAkers???
Gasol is known for choking in big situations, and this is BIG. I'm pretty worried.
I lost to the Celtics in a blowout in NBA 2K10
Stern will be at the game tonight, do you think this will have an impact on how the game is called?
I'm nervous too, but so are Boston fans. They don't want this to go to 7 in LA.
Looks like our shameless home crowd is here.. Wait to intimidate the opposition during the player introdcution.. You can hear all of 2 dudes booing at the back
Lakers haven't loss a playoff game at Staples this playoffs where the opponent didn't have a player knock down 8 3-pointers!
We have a lot in our favor. Home court, I'm sure the NBA and David Stern want a game 7 so the refs will be on our side. And I'm sure ABC want a game 7 also. It would get huge ratings.
Who's going to step-up and be our big baby?
Jon Barry just called us the "Fakers."
Still bitter the lakers got rid of him just before the title run
Here's hoping the fans at Staples can get in the heads of the Celtics or refs -- either one would be fine with me.
We need ALLEN OUT OF THE GAME
We can't let Ray Allen get hot.
Get the wheelchair Boston got away with that kind of over back the all night long in the last three games.
I hope Perkins broke his (bleep) ing knee. Stay down
Perkins contracted a KTD from Bynum (Knee Transmitted Disease).
I hope that punk is injured for the game. Evens up the knee issues that Bynum has had all series.
Over or under 5 minutes until Perkins comes running out of the tunnel to get back in the game.
(bleep) Perkins. That idiot deserves this
Porkins is a drama queen just like every other (bleep) on that team.
I don't think Perkins faking hes not flopper like paulina
That's not a good look. Hate Boston, but hope the dude's ok. Nobody needs serious injuries.
He aint fakin
Finallly got a call!
Phil needs to get in the refs ear about Sheed's d on Pau. He's doing some dirty stuff in there.
Celtics are down to 3 big men, now matched with the Lakers. Certainly helps in our favour as really only Sheed can defend a guy like Bynum.
Issue is Kobe not hving legs in the 4th because we have no depth.
If we play with energy and hustle we will win the series
Its sad we need our backs against the wall in order to play like this
Keep attacking show them your not scared of them.
So this is what 100% effort from the whole team looks like. Ive always wondered about that.
This reminds me of game 4 2008. The lakers looked like a totally different team. Then they blew the lead. Hopefully this is different.
Doesn't matter what Boston team show up, if the Lakers play like this they are simply unbeatable.
Refs letting reaches and hacks go on both sides - players need to keep the ball tighter or there will be a lot of jumps and "steals."
it's crazy how easy it is for Boston to get calls.
WOW REFS TAKING OVER!!
I think the Celtics are the worlds ugliest nba team
They are only going to call obvious fouls since we are up by so much.
I hope Perkins is done for the rest of the series. That makes up for him not getting his last tech.
WOW @ THESE TICKY TACK CALLS. REFS TRYING TO GET LAKERS IN THE PENALTY
Celtics hacking everyone on every play.
On that one play... Pierce intentionaly trips pau and rondo shoves Kobe in the back. Punks
Kg and Gasol trying to out flop each other.
Refs letting both teams play, not calling Wheelchair's flopping act, and the Lakers are up big...
We need to win and not let this garbage jungle ball rule the league, send that (bleep) back to the dungeon with the Knicks and Pistons
ALL the Boston players are dirty one way or the other.
Apparently everybody but the refs and ABC seen Rondo push Kobe.
Rondo to the line. This should be comical.
Why don't we foul Rondo hard on all layups?
Kobe has ZERO respect for Rondo's game. I don't blame him either, RONDO is a JOKE.
Kobe disrespecting Rondo a little too much on the last 2 possessions. He actually can score once in a while if you let him.
Bench Points:
LA: 24
Boston: 0
Artest got Rondo seeing stars. Lol
The bow by Ron Ron... I like it!!!
Too bad no one bumped Rondo back down on the floor as he was getting back up. It'd be worth the tech.
WOW THIS CELTICS TEAM IS SOFT. WHEN THINGS DON'T COME THEIR WAY, THEY FLOP/WHINE/CRY LIKE A BIG LITTLE BABY GIRL.
More Celtic injuries please.
They're dropping like flies. Green, disgusting flies.
No team has dominated a game like this all series.. Makes you think which team is really the better team if it wasn't for a couple of calls that didn't go our way. The Celtics definitely won game 2, 4 and 5 with intensity as well though so you can't take anything away from them.
Man I cant stand Bill Simmons Lol
Sportsguy33: This is disgusting. Celts getting hammered - Lakers now allowed to claw on every possession, Rondo just got smacked in the face on that last drive. Come on. LA was gonna win anyway, call it fair. I hated this third quarter from a reffing standpoint.
Why does Breen keep on saying Perkins is out but not Bynum??
Seriously, Pierce is a human bobblehead.
Lets send someone in to get Wallace a TTTTTT haha
He should've gotten one two tantrums ago.
I'm sure the Celtics media and fans are already preparing their "We would've won in 2010 in Perkins hadn't gone down in game 6" excuses.
So its the 4th quarter and Boston has...51 points. WOW!
Put the midget on the ground not a silly ticky tack foul....
One thing smaller than Nate must be his IQ.
Hey Nate - jump around like a stupid monkey like you usually do when you make a shot. Oh wait, you're team is getting waxed right now.
I really hate Nate Robinson. I wish SHAQ whipped him to the ground to break his legs
Celtics have checked out of this game, but they won't play like this again in game 7.
You don't put off tommrow what you can do today, they'll pay for that attitude
Nice nate is starting to chuck
Bad things happen when Fisher is in the game. Our chances to win game 7 will be dramatically enhanced if he picked up 2 early fouls.
Tony Allen getting away with another foul...
Wow, bad call there. ...what's new?
Tony Allen pulled Kobe like he was playing in the backyard infront of the ref... And then he gets Td up by the very same ref for that?
Shelden Williams makes Mbenga look like an offensive juggernaut
Considering the Celdicks have dodged about 15 Ts already this series due to Perk's and Sheed's "predicaments" that technical foul call is probably up there with some of the worst calls in this series. Shameful.
Why is it when the Celtics are down, they foul more and harder?
Laker defense has been awful in the 2nd half.. They're just missing shots
I hate to ask this, but is there any way we can Tony Allen I know per wiretape he wants to stay in Boston
Even when we lost in Boston, we didn't get creamed like this, even when we played terrible we lost by 5-10 points..this was a total BLOWOUT
2010 CHAMPIONS LA LAKERS !
Starters' game travels, bench players? Not so much. Look for much of the same in Game 7, especially with Perkins out
EVERYONE has their confidence back! It's SKY HIGH! Another guaranteed win on Thursday. Today was ONLY the beginning!
Sure we lost TWICE in BOSTON, but we'll be winning these final two in LA which is ALL that matters!
Expect Game 7 to be much tighter.
Marca reports that Perk injury is looking REAL BAD. Don't like that, missing the 7th yeah but don't want him to lose months of play
Screw Perkins. Usually I hate seeing people get injured but in this case, **** that. I am happy that fool is gone!
I was actually upset that he got injured, he's probably my favorite Celtic player... And I don't want excuses coming from people rooting against LA.
Trust me, Perkins would of not made a difference. Lakers already had a big lead when he blew his knee.
It was a 6 point game when Perk went out
The diffrence is not a player is what refs let them getc away with.
Please! I hate everything about Boston! I hate all their teams! I despise them!
Ray Allen: "We gotta do this for him" Perkins is out for Game 7 and his teammates know it.....
Perkins is going to be miss by them, because they lost more size! Lakers will come out and punish them inside
Sorry but KG, Baby and Sheed aren't defensive stoppers in the middle. Sure the Celtics will come hard in Game 7 but so will the Lakers. Reality will set in as time goes on in that game.
Lakers 4th quarter execution needs a lot of work.. Tight game favors Boston.. Lakers, it's pretty much on Kobe's miracle work..
HC matters the C's were hacking us with no calls for three straight games up there.
Lets not celebrate too much. There will be plenty of enough time for that on Thursday night
This is the lakers playing to their potential and with sense of urgency. Its clear that we're the better team.
I'm so nervous about game 7, I know Boston won't play this bad, theyre gonna come out fired up.
I want Phil to light up a cigar in the middle of Staples while Russell hands Kobe the MVP trophy
