Here it is! Back by popular demand! The first Comments From The Other Side. Featuring the Heat fans! Heat fans were excited with plenty of win predictions and then not so much. There were a lot of *ahem* Celtics bashing, but thats to be expected from the enemy. Enjoy!

On a sidenote, I hope Spo gives Big Cat some burn tonight. He would be useful against Boston's bigs. He can also maybe start a brawl and suspend Garnett or something. Either way, lets go heat!!!!

i would rather put jamal to explode kg's knees with a batt. than to try to suspend kg, cause is still early in the season.

How fitting is it that Boston is our first opponent? Not because they're the ECC, but simply because of the way we left off with them. It's justice, poetry, karma, and a million other things wrapped all in one.

i know this is out of nowhere but i just saw the video on nba tv of where rondo dove for the loose ball against the magic last year got up and layed it in.... what i dont understand is why does everybody think thats such a great play when clearly it should have beeen a walk... you cant stand up with the ball when your on the ground....oh wait i forgot it's the celtics...it makes me SICK evertime i see it

It's last chance for Boston to win us. 'cause they are diying bones. We're growing trees.

I'm a realist. I think the Celtics got this game 98-92. Too many injuries and not enough chemistry thus far for the Heat. It'll take about 15-20 games for this team to click and become unbeatable.

I'm a realist. Heat win by 25. Lebron drops 35 points with 15 boards.

I've refrained from playoff predictions, W-L predictions, and whatnot. I even think the Heat will have a few ruff patches during the season for whatever reason. But one thing I will say boldly...THE HEAT ARE GOING TO WIN THE SEASON OPENER TONIGHT and I don't care who we are playing.
Lebronteed! It's just too much of an opportunity for the naysayers to talk trash if we loose this game and the Triforce knows it.

Horrible start Miami is clearly not ready and looks rusty,while Boston took the preseason serious and finish with a 7-1 record and looks way better than this heat team so far.

Wade is trying to prove himself too much needs to relax and take his time.

Team shooting too much jumpshots and missing too much open ones also.

Clearly this team needs size badly and Riley have to pick up size as the season goes on.

House should just be the starting PG b/c he plays better defense and hustle defense and is the smarter player than the other heat pgs.

Arroyo needs to be cut and beverley sign back hopefully the bulls won't sign him.

This team also need quickness besides the big 3.

This is why role players are important when the big 3 struggle to click and score need role players to step up.

I will say this the big 3 won't play this bad come playoff time.

Personally I'm happy boston is spanking the heat on both ends of the floor b/c it shows everybody this team have a long way to go and showing RILEY this team needs upgrade badly especially when an aging team like the celtics is beating you up on nationalize television.
He better be at work now to upgrade this team.

The heat need a BIG 3rd qtr.

There is only one main reason why the Heat look dismal out there: they aren't mentally on the same page.

I think Wade's absence in the preseason not only affected the team but his confidence in his shot and driving to the paint.

They got caught up in the hype and thought they would have been right from the start.

It is all mental, Boston isn't doing anything special defensively, its just the inexperience of playing together that is the Heat's fault in the first half.

With that being said, in the NBA a 15 point game is close, a good 2 minute run and they are right back in it. They need to settle down and come down and attack the paint, don't settle for jumpers. I promise if they all drive, good things will happen.

But it does pain me to say it looks as if their competitive instinct hasn't kicked in and it should have, simply for pride.

Well that was a bad game for the heat but they stuck around b/c of decent defense and okay offensive game.

If heat find a real good big man with size and a very good point guard and when miller comes back and this team starts geling watch out that's all I have to say.

Can't allow rondo to get 17ast, can't allow allen to get that open but as we all see many works need to be done.

First off good game all around. I mean good to see NBA basketball. 2nd all you Miami bandwagoners you are no better than the Celtic/cavs trolls on here. Miami is a 55-60 win team and will be fine but I'm glad that you bandwagon fans got to see reality. No 1 is handing Miami the title and teams will gun for them every night!!! Bron played excellent, Wade was rusty and Bosh played terrible and timid.

Well, this wasn't what i expected. I'm just glad i didn't put any money on it.

Congrats to the Celts fans on the win.

I'm not really too bummed out over this. For our first ever regular season game, we almost came back on the best defensive team in the league and Eastern Conference champions who have been playing together for a few years now.

We'll get there. Not worried at all.

Now everyone to that bar for free drinks for loosing LOL
