Even most Lakers fans admitted last night that they got the benefit of the calls. I think Ray's problems stemmed from the knee he took to the thigh early in the game. Tony took a kick to the neck from Kobe and ended up with 8 stitches in his lip. The refs sure called it tight... on one end. It was interesting to see that Laker fans turned on Kobe pretty quickly. I'm not giving up on my Celtics. They were in this same position after game 3 in the Cavs series and I have faith that they will bounce back and take the series again. The only difference is that the officiating in games 4,5 and 6 in that series was pretty good. I don't have confidence that it will be called fairly in this series. The evidence so far in the Finals indicate the opposite. The last poster has a good point, except for the fact that the Celtics have gotten screwed in all 3 games, not just the first and third. They just played well enough to overcome the obvious bias of the refs in game 2.

Eliminate the crowd early! Unlike our pathetic rich celebrity crowd, the Boston crowd will have a huge impact on the way the game is called and played early and often, we need to jump on them right away.

About the only encouraging thing is that Boston is not a good home team and they have little time off.

I wonder how the west would have been if the Suns did not trade Rondo to the Celts a few years ago. Suns might be in the Finals. You just never know. He was drafted with the 21st pick in the first round. What a steal...Makes me want the Lakers to buy a #1 pick from someone to start to rebuilt the bench.

The Lakers are a team that has trouble maintaining their focus, especially after a big win like they had in game 1. But through this year and last year's playoff they haven't lost a must win game yet. I completely expect them to win game 3, lose game 4 and then win games 5 and 6. The Celtics are still living off of their 2008 memories but the Lakers are clearly the better team now and that will show as the series goes on. There are just too many matchups in the Lakers favor.

The 2008 Celtics didn't choke away homecourt when they had it. Major props to the 2010 old Celtics to beat a better Lakers team on their court... Advantage Celtics, something the Lakers never had in 2008 and had only for one game in 2010 thus far...

The last team to lose the middle three road games had Derek Fisher & Kobe Bryant in the backcourt... Hopefully history doesn't repeat itself.

The Kobe-Fisher pick and roll killed Boston.

I think we see that next game, because Rondo is gonna have to make a decision and you know he doesn't want Kobe, but he's also to weak to fight through a screen.

I don't think the pick and roll with Fisher will work again. It's not everyday that Fisher is contributing on a lot of layups and floaters. Glad he came through tonight, well deserved on his part, but realistically, I can't see it working effectively again.
