A lot of complaining about the refs in this one. There were a few fans who realized that the officiating was bad both ways, but some just saw the bad calls on the Magic, not the bad ones on the Celtics. The comment that really floored me was the one about hoping the Celtics plane crashed. I mean, it's just a game. Yes, I'm happy the Celtics won, but if they lost, I would never wish harm on the Magic. I don't even wish harm on the Fakers and I really hate that team. Pretty sad to wish people dead just because they beat your team. One comment made me think though... The Wizards very improbably win the lottery after trading Jamison to the Cavs for nothing. Makes you think, doesn't it? There are a couple interesting comments from fans of other teams thrown in and a fun video from a Celtics fan. All that being said...great win by the Celtics. I just have to say... I liked the refereeing we had in game one.. I hope its the same for this game... The reason I bring this up is because I watched the suns v lakers game... OMFG the refs favoured the shiit out of the lakers(Kobe) one play which stood out, was when Kobe backed Dudley down and went up to shoot (dudleys arms straight up, standing still, no contact at all) the whistle went, bam foul on Dudley... Was so pissed at that, I turned the game off.

I predict Matt Barnes will kill every Celtic and we win

I wish the Magic didn’t have home court advantage…and that they were still the underdogs. Now, that I expected them to win this series, it’s gonna sting that much harder if they lose it.

As bad as we played on Sunday, we still made it come down to the final minute. Magic roll in game 2.

We played our absolute worst, they played their absolute best and we lost by 4. Need I say more.

Strange, we once again tie it or get a lead and a flurry of foul calls on us ensues. If we get a lead of more than five points this game I'll be completely floored, the officials just aren't going to allow it.

The officiating isn't as lopsided as some here are making it out to be. We might think that the Magic are getting bad calls but we can also say the same for the Celtics.

I think we can steal both in Boston IF ONLY we come out with a purpose. We havent done that in these 2 home games. Boston havent beaten us in their arena since game 5 of last year though.

Lewis,nelson and co have been this bad for months but there was never a team strong enough to really show it to us and when the going gets tough the tougher gets going but all we saw was a bunch of sissies panicking at the thought of attacking the basket because their bodies might be harmed.

It's sad when the Celtics have already won a championship and they still want it more than us. I think it's just that the Celtic players in general are just more true "basketball players". They have more intensity because they really live this. Pietris, Carter, I'm sorry but Howard, and Rashard just didn't play like it was their last. The other team did.

I think we got out coached. Rivers put his team in a position to beat the better team. 100% of the credit goes to Doc.

Hats off to the C's. They have just denied this team from getting anything easy at all. They've completely made Rashard a non-factor and Sheed/Perkins is the best defensive duo in the league. They've played better and are the better team.

To inject some hope into this: just a couple years ago there was that Houston/Dallas series, where Houston went up 2-0 in Dallas, but eventually lost the series. So it's not completely hopeless.

That series was absolutely rigged in favor of the Mavericks though. Dirk was flopping, Michael Finley stepped out of bounds and refs pretended to not know about it, and JET was getting every single call. I can guarantee you that there is absolutely NO WAY the Refs will favor us.

Actually, that was pretty funny, classless loser of a sports fan. But Pierce is a candy-arse little sissy. At least for his short comings, Howard doesn't flop all over the place and roll around on the floor like a suckling piglet, like Pierced does. Some traits transcend sports, kid.

What annoys me is Boston is just playing single coverage and we can't make them pay. If we have a weakness its that we have two many spot up shooters. Vince is the only guy that can drive past his man.

The team is to blame for their lack of commitment and focus...nothing more, nothing less.

Celtics win on guts and team work and you have to applaud them for it.

I'm just being myself, who cares if the season's over Boston would finally shut up about Len bias and reggie Lewis dropping dead.

We played 2 bad/mediocre games, the Celtics came out hard and intense in both, and edged us out in both as a result. And that will likely cost us this series. That's pretty much the story.

The Celtics are a superior team. I though the last game was us not having any competition and rusty but it's them that make us a horrible team.

Boston is the very definition of what a team is all about.

We also know the already ridiculous officiating is just going to get worse in Boston. Series is over folks.

It doesn't matter if they fouled out after Dwight's flagrant foul the officials were calling every little touch a foul for both sides but it hurt us worse cause they attacked more than we did

I'm going to give the Celtics all the credit they deserve for the game today. They simply played like champions play after play.

There is no question in my mind that the Celtics, when healthy, are a vastly superior team than the Magic. They are serious at all times and take every play like it's the play that's going to win the game.

I also think its ridiculous to blame the refs. The refs suck everyone knows that. The point is not getting yourself in the situation where a few bad calls cost you the game. In the Atlanta series the refs were horrible but we were blowing them out so bad that it didn't matter.

There were bad calls both ways; but we lost this one on our own.

I always believed that Stern fixed games, but this clearly rests on the Magic. Boston is the better team end of story. I hate the Celtics and their fans, the only joy out of the situation is that the Lakers will beat the **** out of the old farts. It was not by accident that the Wizards won the lottery and the chance to get John Wall. Stern corrupt as hell.

Yup, that's how he got the Wiz to trade Jamison to the Cavs and have them agree to buy out Z's contract. Of course we all know it back fired.

NBA officiating sucks. That is why you can't afford to be in a close game at the end, especially with the Celtics and Lakers. They will get the majority of the critical calls all the time. I really think the Lakers and Celtics run the league. That said, the Celtics played a great game. The weak link for the Magic was Lewis. Oh well, football will be starting soon and Dwight can use the off season to learn how to act. Maybe he can learn how to flop like the Celtics with the slightest contact.

If it makes anybody feel better, Paul Pierce relatively guaranteed a sweep.

We played average at best and Boston has played at their best and they have only won by 4 and 3. Just shows how much better we are and we gave that advantage away
