I was amazed that more posts didn't give a bit more credit to the Celtics defense. They really tore apart their own team and coach, but really didn't give a lot of credit to the Celtics for winning this. The Celtics defense was incredible in this game and that in my opinion is why the Cavs looked so bad. Enjoy these comments from the other side.... good stuff.

Even as a Laker fan, I know the Cavaliers are winning this game. It's at home, and Cav's respond to must-win games.

I always cringe when Crawford calls our games but I respect his no bullshit mentality.

Crawford isn't a bad ref to have against Boston simply because his ego won't allow him to listen to any of their whiny ass bullshit. We might see ejections in the first half.

Cleveland fans, myself included, could almost collectively plead guilty to underestimating the Celtics before this series.

ESPN's Tim Legler was just on Mike & Mike and he picked Boston to win games 5 & 6. He said the Cavaliers have given the Celtics confidence and he looks for them to close the Cavaliers out.

I got a really bad feeling about this one...

Cavs are the best team. Celtics are old. They can't play 2 good games in a row. They're old man. Cavs will take them apart in this oen.

In the biggest game of the year the best player will always show why he is the best. Rondo will struggle trying to live up to all the hype that his great game 4 created. He is just not consistent enough to be considered in the same sentence as LBJ

With Joe Crawford as Ref., I expect Rasheed Wallace to get T'd up at least once tonight.

Oh ya - upside to J.Craw! Hopefully KG and/or pierce as well.

There is 4 players I can see getting T'd up. Rasheed is a no brainer, KG with his dirty cheap shots, Perkins since he likes to start crap, and Rondo when a call doesn't go his way. Lets hope at least 2 of these guys get a T tonight.

Plain and simple, the Cavs all need to remember how much they hate this team and use the hatred to fuel their desire to win. let's kill em!

Could Telfair guard Rondo some and offset some of the points? Seems like the guy can score and if Mo struggles perhaps he can take over for him?

I expect the C's to win the series and for LeBron to defect to New York in the off season. The C's have won two games with Pierce and Garnett playing poorly. To me, this is scary, how can Boston win two games with the poor shooting they've displayed in this series? I have a feeling that Pierce and Garnett will play a great game tonight and the C's win the series in six.

Damnit, the Celtics HAVE to be getting tired. 3rd playoff game in 5 nights, the Cavs should be able to take advantage in the 4th qrt at home tonight.

I'm worried about Pierce waking up.

With Rajon Rondo now being hailed as the next best thing since sliced bread by ESPN and USA Today, rest assured the Cavs WILL win tonight.

Wow this is just horrible I cant believe these calls. How was that not off Allen? These refs have taken over every single game so far. It makes me not even want to watch this.

A couple of bad calls both ways. Actually pretty fair so far.

We're killing ourselves out there. Lebron has driven to the hole like twice. The C's are packing the lane and forcing Lebron into the double team. KG is killing AJ while AV is doing a good job on him. Pierce and Allen both got hot that half along with KG. This does not look good when the Big 3 are all on a roll.

Looks like LBJ is giving us a preview of his off season decision, his head is somewhere else. Because it sure isn't in Cleveland.

I wouldn't care if we were losing to a team that was better than us. I felt like more than anything last year, the Magic outplayed us in the ECF. I thought their roster was better than ours. This year we have talent to macth up with any team in the league. This series the Celtics outcared and out worked us. That is something that is unacceptable.

That performance in the 2nd and 3rd quarters was straight-up disgusting.

Shaq is the only player on the Cavs who outscored Glen Davis (!). That definitely shouldn't happen, especially when Davis is only the fifth-leading scorer on his team.

The truth is we did not lose this game, just like what we always say that THE CAVS BEAT THEMSELVES.. Blaming it on our flaws blah blah blah The Celtics are OUTPLAYING us in most (perhaps in all) aspects of the game.. Coaching, teamwork, aggresiveness, etc

A bit of history to make us feel a little better between now and the next game is that in 2009, same round of the playoffs with the same opposition the Magic were in the exact same position. They dropped game 2 then regained home court advantage, then lost 2 in a row to be down 3-2 after 5 games, and they won the series in 7 and went all the way to the Finals.

Differences: No KG. Game 7 was in Boston

I said before this series started, the Celtics are a battle-tested and proud team, they were not going to go down easily, and they took our best punch in Game Three and proved what the heart of a champion looks like by taking that shot, standing strong, and firing right back.
